hey everyone! My husband and I's packet was recieved on April 15th. I got notice that it was sent to the California service center, but havent heard anything since!!! Im starting to get a bit worried.....

We have almost same dates and i am also waiting for approval..Same service centre and than transfer to california and now it shows your file at local office

Any good news?

Transfer to Californial from vermont- 27th August

Received at local office- 9th september than it was changed yesterday that received at local office 17th Sept.

My i-130 received at local office

So i called to USCIS they said your file at local office for process to reduce workload of Service centre.so thats not to worry about

Yes my status shows the same file received at local office.My status was changed in 9th september.i was transfered from VSC to CSC on 28th August

Do you mind if I ask which country your spouse is from? I've seen a couple of post with cases being transferred to local offices.

Both of us in US rightnow..My wife is US permanent resident and i am on student visa here.She file i-130 for me basically both are from india.

This is my status so what it mean by? Why they send it to the local office?

My case has been received at local office for i-130..

Same here PD 16th April and transfer to cali.on 28th August...Probably we should get some news within 15days as cali.processing tike shows 5 months so.

My case was transfered to other office and other office has jurisdiction.

I was in Vermont centre.

What it mean by? Anybody has same thing?

Might be it will take 15-16 months from April so may be our priority date will be current in July or August 2016..Than all depend on our luck..

I am not worried about time frame as I am already in U.S. As a student And both are living together but thing is that we want to finish it as early as possible. Anyway if it will take more than 1 year than my wife will be citizen next year so probably than we will change petition as a U.S. Citizen spouse let's see what happen. Hope so all hoes well and will finish up within 12 months..

Vermont centre is too tough for the spouse of permanent residence I-130 petition.Is it takes a year for aproval? As Processing time shows October 2013 so what should we understand?
