  1. All is well. On 7-22 it already shows ready but no one from nvc or embassy can tell me if it arrived. Oh well. I see that during interview people are. Being asked for appointment letter. My question is, is it the letter u get online after you set the appointment or the one that sometimes never arrives in the philippines. I moved ahead and scheduled interview mid august since i saw no other dates further out that were available.

  2. I did try and it still comes back, your search did not return any data. I called nvc and they said it left for the Manila embassy yesterday. The lady claims that this message means its in transit which i know she is WRONG. She was not very helpful and i asked if they will send me an email or mail showing my Manila case number and she said no. Wow very confusing and now I am afraid to schedule an appointment since i paid through bancnet. I see that the amount cleared from the philippine bank. I only have the 8 digit number the nvc provides when you pay through bancnet so i am concerned and don't know how they match that to the visa since payment was online and through the ceac it shows no search data. Very confusing.

  4. Thanks all. I will follow instructions carefully and put in the receipt number they give. One last thing. They suggest you create an account before your begin. I did not want to start the process and get stuck. I know it starts with e-mail and password. Do you know what information they request after that? Is it all information about my fiance in the philippines and so she needs to fill this out or can I do this part as well or at least do it with her as we screen share. Thanks!

  5. Thanks for your responses. I did more research and found that I am able to do it online because we have a joint account at PNB bank. So based on this I am able to pay it via Bancnet. It looks straight forward but I was just concerned. I guess I am wondering why do they offer to paying through bancnet if you recommend not doing that because you have to show a passport. Anyway I am just wondering if there is anyone out there that has paid through Bancnet and what they experienced. Thanks!

  6. I am in the US and would like to pay the $265 visa fee for my filipina fiance through bancnet as one of the options they provide so that we can schedule our interview. I have only heard of peoples experiences of going directly to the BPI bank teller in the Philippines. Can anyone let me know there experience paying directly through Bancnet online. I am just concerned about it not being correct and therefore not being able to get the correct info after paying so that we can properly schedule our interview. We do have a joint bank account at PNB bank in Philippines. Thanks for any help you can give.

  7. Thanks for the info but in my case I was not allowed to log in and when I put my case number it gave me an error and about a week ago I put in the case number and logged in and the errors went away but it just said no information is available. Again just concerned because another fellow VJ's says something different and actually recognizes his NAO1 and then tells him that his NAO@ may show up around June 14th. It is so frustrating that they cannot be consistent with their responses.

  8. I was wondering if anyone knows what the wording means on the USCIS case status page "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NSCS 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information."

We have our NAO1 on May 5th and waiting for NOA2 but when we log in we first got case number not found and now the above appears. Just wondering if this means and RFE is coming or just means we are getting closer to them looking at it for possible NOA2 approval. I was with a friend who file NOA1 on May 7th and when they log in it says that the approximate date to review is June 14th. Any insight would be appreciated.

  9. Hank, Thanks and just to be suoer clear. 1. Do I put annulled in the status box. 2. Do I put single full name in the top of the application. 3. In the AKA box do I put annulled full name. without any explanation of what the name is or do I type " annulled name: John Joe watkins"

    4. Lastly, in the online form when you choose annulled they ask for husbands name. Is this a mistake or am I to put annulled husbands full name and place of birth.

    Thanks!

  10. Ok so just to clarify this confusing topic on NBI's. Do I need ONE NBI only with the single name and then put the annulled name in the AKA box or do I NEED TWO NBI's, one with single name and one with annulled name? I am getting a K-1visa and do not want 221g at interview.

  11. Thanks for the info about the blue but it does change that name in blue depending on whether or not I choose annulled or single parent/single. The blue name will be in her annulled previous married name if I choose annulled because I have to put in husbands name or it wont let me save the page. If I choose single/single parent then the blue still stays in annulled previous name until I actually go back and delete the husbands name from the form on when I choose annulled and then save and then choose single/parent. So I hope you can see the confusion. I am not sure it makes a difference as you said what it says at the top in blue. I just want to know if I should be choosing annulled and then I am required to put in husbands name or single/single parent and thus delete husbands name. Either way as you said her maiden name is below in the application under the blue highlight name and her annulled previous married name is under AKA. Do I need to type in the AKA box annulled name or previous married name before iI put the actual name or just put the name in the box. Sorry but all this is confusing and I want to make sure we do it right so we don't get any 221g at the interview. At the end if none of this works can I just get an NBI with single name and no AKA and then annulled name no AKA thus getting 2 NBI's? I am then doing to apps. 1 with single name and one with annulled. Of course this is a last result. Does the online system let you apply for 2 and pay for 2 separately? Lastly, when you type the annulled name in the AKA box will they just print that name on the NBI clearance as a cleared name along with the maiden name that you use as the main name searched?

  12. Ok the new online registration for NBI is VERY confusing. First they ask your status so she choose annulled. When you choose annulled it asks for the husbands name. So once you are registered it then takes you to the application. We put in her maiden name and then put in her former married name in the AKA box. The we choose civil status as annulled again. But when we did this it again asked about the husbands name, Once you fill in the data and save it now has her former married name at the top of the online application and still of course has her name as maiden and aka as former married. My concern is that they will issue an NBI with her married name since it is now the name at the top of the online application and since the AKA name is the same we will then NOT get a clearance with her maiden name which she now uses. When we choose single as the civil status it eliminates the previous married name at the top of the online application but has the AKA as the former married name which is the way I think it should be to ensure both names on the NBI. SO I am just confused why they have a civil status of annulled and it then changes the main name at the top of the application. Any one else experience this and can anyone help me at what to do. I am thinking of getting one as single and then one as annulled in previous married name just in case the first one is wrong. I know this sounds confusing because it is. Anyone feel free to e-mail me wayne7650@yahoo.com. I am in arizona and would love to talk with anyone who did online NBI and yet was annulled and got the correct NBI for the K-1 visa. Thanks!
