Am probably the only one left who hasn't shared the good news yet. Well, my case got approved Feb 24th 2017. Making it 1yr 10months nd some days. Delay is never Denial!!!! Thanks to Jesus christ for his grace, thnks to all y'all amazing vj well wishers nd counsellors during this stressful period. God reward us all, Amen. It is over!!!

    Congratulations

  2. The immigration medical is good for 1 year only. I would get it done again and take it with me for the interview. Last thing you want is a RFE because your medical has expired.

I did my medical at this urgent care clinic (Statcare) in Astoria. They charge 129$ for the paperwork. Vaccines/other tests are additional - since you had your paperwork done last year, you should have documentation of the other tests.

  3. Does anyone know if NBC count days in between the RFE reply or they count 75 Days from the reply date for EAD processing??

An Congrates to ppl received their EAD or Interview dates!!

I felt like getting an RFE delayed my EAD. The sooner you respond, the better.

    Check this link:

    http://www.uscis.gov/forms/tip-sheet-employment-authorization-applications-pending-more-75-days

The 3rd scenario is where we fall into: EAD is based on a pending I-485, so yes, the clock stops when they send out an RFE. Then as soon as they receive our response, the clock restarts.

  4. Finally got EAD card mailed to me!!! God is good!

    Congrats!

I have a question, how do you apply without your employment authorization? Do you get called for an interview and then explain that you are waiting? I would really like to know so I can apply aswel. I was scheduled for an interview already

Yes, you can also show them EAD receipt or interview letter. And if you're willing and they're accepting, you can volunteer (no pay) till you get the EAD.

  5. Hello everyone,

It looks like people who applied in April starting to get their EADs approved.

    In my case, I applied I-130, I-485 & I-765 in April 2015.

    NOA - 04/28/2015

    Biometrics done on 05/21/2015

EAD still pending as of today day 76

I have a job offer starting 7/20 but my EAD hasn't been approved yet. I already pushed my start date back once, so it would be my last chance to work there. My question is, should I expedite my case? or just wait for it? I read somewhere that it could take a long time. I can't figure out which way is better for me..

    Any comments would be appreciated!

    Thanks :)

USCIS calculates date starting when they issued a receipt for I-765. The first question I was asked when I called them up was what was the receipt date, they even calculated the number of days it had been. Since your NOA is 04/28/2015, today will be day 71 according to their records.

Will you be able to get a letter from your employer stating that you've been offered a job over there?

To get EAD expedited, you have to fall under one of the criteria mentioned on the USCIS website:

    http://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria

07/19/2015 will be day 82 for you.

Based on the recent responses by April filers, we received our approval letters between day 80 and day 90.

I've yet to receive the EAD and it has been 6 days after the approval letter.

If I were you, I'd try to get a letter from employer - > If I can -> Then I'd expedite the EAD and also call USCIS after day 76. If I can't get the letter, then I'd just wait it out and probably look for another job. Good luck

  6. Ok guys, I just got an update that my EAD/AP was approved on the 26th June.

    I filed 10th April

    They received 16th April

    I did biometrics 21st may

    They approved it June 26th

    Joy fills my heart.

So guys hang in there yours is next.!

    Congratulations!!

Just went online and saw that I was approved for EAD on June 30th. One more step completed.

    Good luck everyone.

    Congratulations!!

EAD approved June24. Waiting on EAD card like .... :clock:

    Congratulations!!

Yes!!! I just check online and my EAD was aprove on June 30th... Big day!! Happy 4th of July!!!

    Congratulations!! Happy 4th.

  7. Earlier today I posted that I was 'over it' and was just going to wait, well lo and behold, my attorney just told us that the EAD was approved as of 6/23. There was no update online, no letters, no RFE's, nothing. I am just super glad that we are making progress. I am super happy right now! :dancing: . I guess this entire process is about just being patient. My timeline. Filed 3/30, NOA1 4/6, Bio 4/30, EAD approval 6/23. From our inital file date to EAD approval it was 84 days.

Teeler, at the snail pace that they are processing applications I wouldn't worry too much about it. I know easier said than done as this morning I was fed up with waiting. Rest assured that they will get to your application and that you are still within the timeframe of them processing your application. If my timeline is any indication of how yours will go, you will get your case resolved in the first few days of July. There is not much more to wait. Just be patient and dont trust any of the information ont he USCIS tracker as that thing is not working and hasn't worked properly for many filers.

    Good luck on your journey!

    That's amazing, congrats.

  8. Any update guyz? I think i am about to be frustrated, today i recieved a 3rd job offer. This people urgently needs me and wants me to start by nextweek friday. Now whats the chances EAD will be out by then? I need a divine accelerated processing right now. They are willing to give me $45/hr. Im just tired and weak. Any April filers got any news? Can someone pls borrow me their ead? I'll give it back(lol).

    Still waiting.

Once I reach day 75, do i 'submit a case enquiry' online and then click 'case outside normal processing time for the EAD?

Or is there a number that i have to call?

  9. I did not send a new packet, i attached the document that they requested.

The cover letter had date, USCIS address, Subject (Re: i-864) at the beginning.

Then I listed the document that I was attaching.

Thanked them at the end and signed it off.

I also send the original RFE letter (yellow color paper). I made a copy of everything for my record.

PLS how did you respond to the rfe?? did u send a new I-485 packet or just the evidence they asked for?? how does the cover letter look like?
