Hello all,
We received our NOA2 recently and I'm looking to gather all the necessary documents for the I-134 Affidavit of Support for our K-1 visa application interview in advance. In my case, I moved back to the US recently (April, 2015) and all of my income for the past 4.5 years was insufficient to file a tax return (W-2). So in essence I have no tax returns to use for the I-134. I do however have pay stubs for US based income starting in April and a bank account listing all of my deposits, etc. As long as my US based income is deemed sufficiently 125% over the poverty line, do I need to submit W-2s? If so, how do I backfile these 1040s? Will it matter? Because all of my income from the US will not be on those.
Thanks for your help in advance.

From what I've been reading, you only need to prove your income, not your taxes. The 1040 is just one way of showing this. Can anyone confirm this is what they've done? Has anyone gone into the interview and only used pay stubs and bank account deposits with their i-134?
