I got visa approved September 1st, received visa package and paid elis feel sept 2nd, entered sept 8th, I tried checking it with my I-130 case but it just says approved and my nvc case does not work on uscis website, does anybody know how to track this process? Thanks in advance

I keep trying to go to the ELIS website and I can't seem to get anywhere. It asks for my LIN number and I put it in and it just tells me my case is being looked at (As if I just started to process).

Can someone please give me step by step instructions how to track my greencard? I've been in the US since the 07th of this month and got my SSN just a few days ago.....

Please help! We're really hurting funds wise, so I really want a better idea when I can start applying for jobs

I paid Sept 2nd and still have the same message...exactly as you...where was ur poe?

Just tried and the automated was not able to find anything...Should i be concerned? I paid on 11/20/15...one day after POE.

I was told this status will change when they mail you a card....you can call USCIS right now enter your IOE number and they will give you an update...I know they are closed but machines gives u an update anyways

Is it just me or is there no way to track the GC. Everytime i log in to USCIS case status it says cannot be found. Meanwhile SSN card received in 1 week.

I guess the time frame has to depend where you live/poe cuz ours was through Chicago Sept 7th and we are still waiting....this is a joke

Website said 60 days from POE or date of payment which ever is later....hoping to receive it in the same 3 weeks it took my mom to get hers (last year Oct, after POE in Sept). Read somewhere (can't remember where) that the time frame is dependent on where you live/POE.

It's nornally 1-3 months after payment or POE, whichever is LATER. Your husband has been here less than 20 days. Just relax a little. It can take up to 6 months.

Who suppose to relax me? ) we are almost at 90 days...according to your calculations I have another 90 to go

I had the same thing, but since my payment was made on Sept 2nd, over 60 days ago I asked to pleask to L2 and he provided me with a IOE number, you might have to call them...they will only tranfer ou if you are over 60 days

when did you pay your fee?

No because my post was from 2013 and they've changed the system.

Sandar, do you have a receipt number? I think it starts with IOE, you can check online youself

they finally started producing my green card on NOV 17th and they gave me an IOE number but the system doesn't recognize it yet ((

I did things a little differently. I went to turn in my packet and to get my passport stamped then I went back to the place I was staying in Mexico and paid the Elis fee. later that afternoon I crossed the border. All this happened on October 1st and I received my GC yesterday.

why I am waiting this long? paid sept 2nd, poe sept 7th.....this waiting is killing me, I wish this was over already

I received my Green Card today I was never able to track my card production after paying the Elis fee, but it's finally here.

Hi yall......my husband immigrated to US about 1 month ago and still no GC in the mail. We did not know about the $165 fee to be paid for the GC....not sure how we missed that. Anyway, I am not trying to get on ELIS to pay the fee. My question is .....Am I using the IOE number or the GEO(our original case status number) where it says DOS? I tried with the IOE but it's not taking.....

Anyone had this issue?

I don't know how to check the status of the green card but I would like to share my timeline.

2015-08-19: ELIS fee paid

2015-09-12: POE

2015-10-03: Green Card Arrived

No sign of SSN card yet, thinking about going into the local office if it doesn't arrive soon.

When I paid on elis it just asked me my A number and case number and then credit card

There was no account login or making

How people are checking their status

What I can do on uscis regarding my green card

How to get all that info so that I can track my green card

How people are tracking usps number or how it works.

I never did received a case number or status notifications, however, I did received my GC out of the blue last week. I received a reply to an erequest I filed on USCIS's website telling me they mailed me card and provided me with a tracking number. They mailed it to the wrong address, however. I provided an address during my entry at the POE, but I assume it did not get updated in their system as my card was sent to my lawyer's office. I did wonder if any notifications went to the office also, and just didn't get forwarded. It took just under 60 days for me to receive my GC.

I am looking for some clarification on the ELIS process as I feel like i have have fallen through a crack somewhere....

Paid ELIS fee - July 10

POE - July 15 SFO

Since then I have received no case status updates and I have not received a receipt from USCIS with a IOE receipt number. Is this normal? I cannot check the wesbite as it says my access has been removed. I did receive a receipt for paying the ELIS fee from admingov. What is the normal process after paying the fee and entering at POE? I will try to call USCIS, but I was wondering if my situation is normal or not.

On USCIS website it says "If you paid the USCIS Immigrant Fee before August 31, 2015, you will no longer have access to your online account.", does anyone know who else to check the status? I paid mine before August 31...

Hey all, so I arrived in the US on Saturday July 11, 2015, came on a CR 1 visa. Got my SS after one week, but until now I haven't received my green card, I called USCIS who says they cannot see anything in the system and that I have to wait at least 60 days before they can do anything...Now I paid the ELIS fee for the green card since July 7, 2015. So was wondering if anyone else out there had this issue with them and how it was resolved, thanks guy
