Don't loose heart, previously trying to get through I would call 50+ times before I got a ring and then an hour long wait to get through to a person. But in the end they were pleasant (although by that time I wasn't) and answered my questions.

Hi everyone, my husband and I started this journey Jan 2013. We sent in more documents in dec and feb. I'm still waiting for a response. How long did it take you to get to the interview process and from there how long until you could move stateside? And did you continue to call and get any success moving things along?
How long?

Sorry I applied Jan 2014 got the year wrong, They took about 6 months to approve our petition, since then we've been sending documents back and they have been requesting things I don't have (I'm a stay at home mum therefore I don't have tax returns for the last 4 years) etc.. We just received an email saying that its been sent on to the Consulate and to await an interview date. Anyone know how long that takes in Sydney?
