Caramel Swirl could you do me a favor and try calling the numbers on http://www.cbp.gov/contact? For some reason they don't work for me.

Hi all,
I am currently a F-1 student and I have accepted an offer from a company in the U.S. I applied for the EAD card and I received the card today.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a slight problem with the given name.
On my passport/I-20/I-94/SSN the name is A-B C where A-B is the given name and C is the surname. However, on the EAD card it is A B C instead. I called the USCIS National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 and I was told to call CBP to ask them if this would be a problem.
Oddly enough, calling the numbers on http://www.cbp.gov/contact DOES NOT WORK AT ALL! As such I cannot seem to reach them. The only alternative is via email and they claim that the waiting time will be 2-3 weeks, which is too long for comfort.
Does someone know if this will affect my work authorization and also if they are able to call CBP using the phone numbers listed on their website?
Thanks,
Curious Duck
EAD card given name not hyphenated

@Pitaya, this is just the EAD card. When I called USCIS they told me to call CBP regarding the hyphen in the name. I suppose that is because when one goes through customs in the U.S they request to see the OPT I-20, passport, and work authorization document of which that is the EAD. As such I worry that they will deny entry if the names don't match exactly.
