  1. Contact the NVC. Provide them with a photocopy of your 20 years old daughter's birth certificate with a certified English translation. Reference the case number, petitioner's info, and your info.

    Google "contact NVC."

    Google "USCIS translation."

Please review the rules of CSPA.

The 23 years old daughter has aged out.

Please don't give the OP false hope.

My interview on 5 Nov went well.

Here goes a small brief hope you guys can be prepared for an interview:

My interview was scheduled at 8:00 am in US Embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE....went their at 5 and around 7:30 security requested us to proceed to the gate and i was asked for interview letter and original passport then i went inside and waited. I was called around 8:10 and a lady asked me to provide original documents which was listed in the Interview letter and she asked me certain question as follows:

    Where is your wife?

How long you guys have been married?

    Is this your first marriage?

and i was advised to proceed to window 10 for finger scan and requested to wait for another interview. Around 9 i was called for final interview.

Was nice lady smiled me and greeted me and she ask me

How you guys met each other?

    Is she citizen or GC?

    Where is she working?

When did she went to US?

How you guys communicated and for how long in day and i smiled and told her more than 3 4 hrs per day :secret::secret:

Who else are there in your wedding?

How many times you met your wife after marriage and when?

and she smiled me and told me everything looks fine and i am gonna approve your visa and she handover me a pink copy to come and collect the passport.

I wish to all family members best of luck and pray for their process comes to end very soon!!

  4. Hi, My husband and I are in the same boat. Interview in June 23, 2015. Husband's passport returned, no paper given, and told Administrative Processing. A month later an email was requesting missing documents (I don't know if this constitutes a 221g, I guess it is). The documents missing, were given to the officer (casilla 12) during the interview (the officer, a she, was very aggressive compare to the other ones in the other casillas). I had to travel back to NY to get the documents again. I mailed them to my husband and he took them to VAC at 360 Galeria. We were told by a very reliable source to give in the passport along with the documents wanted, so we did. This was on August 14 2015. The 60 days have passed. I emailed

support-dominicanrepublic@traveldocs.com, asknvc@state.gov, and sent an email to my district's congressman (house.gov to find your congressman). Ceac still says "Refused" not AP, but read somewhere that getting your congressman involved can shake the tree where the case got stuck. I did that in the past two days, I'm waiting for his response. There is something also called Ombudsman at the USCIS that apparently helps cases like this use by lawyers. You can only do one thing or the other (Congressman or Ombudsman). They say go with the Congressman first. It's been 4 since the interview an no decision yet. My husband is stuck in the Dominican Republic, I'm in NY suffering a storm. I just want to help others as well who are stuck in the process like us. This info might help you. If you have done other thing to help the process along, please blog. This info helps others as well. We need to help each other.

we are very sorry to hear that.... may we know what the reason to refused the visa?!! and what they told during the interview ?!

  5. did they sent you a checklist before interview and they mentioned the same documents should be along with you at the time of interview etc?

Can you please paste all your checklist here?

no i told no check list for same documents ...on the interview letter they were asking for original form of AOS ...my only mistake i didn't have it during my interview

  6. However he told me everything is okay just bring the letter and passport ,he gave me another document to register online ,please help ,I have a joint sponsor who makes over 100k a year ,he gaves me affidavit of support document and the photos,do u know how long it takes ??

Just do same what they told you bring letter from your mom... Yes normally they are not keep passport with them take your mom letter and back to them they will accept it .. Do they want original letter from your mom or copy be sure from that

  7. Hi Anh map

Thanks for the link. She has been filling the US income tax and didn't have to pay. Her earnings are to low. That is way we have a joint sponsor. But as a petitioner she still needs to fill in a affidavit. But the address is the question.

so attach letter from her to nvc to explain that she has no income ....and she has to establish domicile as soon as your visa reach to nvc or embassy
