  1. You need 125% income as of when you APPLY for your finace/spouse/whomever, but 3 years of taxes. Anyways if you are in the US, why havent you done your taxes? You will need to provide that. Everyone does taxes.

There is no requirement to have met the 125% income for the last 3 years, nor to provide the last 3 years of tax returns with the I-134. That is not even a requirement with the I-864.

Also, co/joint sponsors do not have to be a USC. They can also be a LPR.

  2. Yes, you need to move to the states before your case is forwarded to the NVC. You need to re-established domcile in the States, meaning you need to prove you are living and devoted to the US. (opening bank accounts, voting, residental address, working)

    1. Your foreing tax returns do not mean anything to the US government.
    2. However many months you are working you will fill out on one of the forms, and sign. Of course they check by your SSN. Ask your employer for a letter stating your income, how long you have worked.
    3. No, does not matter where you work just has to be legal haha

    Good Luck

  3. Okay there is no I-485 in his future.

He is chasing an immigrant visa IR1/CR1 and you are doing NVC processing.

Yes he needs a police certificate to take to interview. You can send a copy to the NVC.

Alright, he has already taken out his police/court clearance and it says NO FINES on both. But he has those traffic tickets, does he have to pay for them before anything? Will unpaid tickets affect our processing?

  4. They are old, and we are tight with money now with all these processing payments............

And some of them are unlawfel with the fake attorties we have in our country...... just trying to squeeze out some cash for drinks

part of the immigrant visa doc requirements,

    is/are a police clearance report .

check on that, instead, as it's due during NVC Doc Intake phase. Confused? on a pc, with 'view signatures' enabled? Click the link below, it's the Bible for NVC Processing, and it's current.

He sent me his police clearance report, and it is clean.

  5. Is your husband in the USA or in Bosnia?

your profile says IR1/CR1 which is a visa type and the I-485 is to adjust status for those already residing in the USA. It is not a visa.

He is in Bosnia. I should then probably switch the type.

He has sent me his court/civil papers stating he has NO fines.

We are confused about his traffic tickets, which he has not paid.

    Thank you for replying.

  6. I applied for my husbands i-130, expecting NO2 anytime now so we are preparing all the paperwork for i485 Visa. He does not have any convictions, criminal charges, court charges, except traffic violation (parking tickets and speeding, running a red light) but no DUIs or anything. Some of his parking tickets are not paid, will this effect his status??

  7. I'm preparing my i-485 package, and I can't remeber when I sent in the i-130 if I sent original photocopies of birth/marriage certificate with notarized translations.

This time I will need to send in PC (police clearance), marriage/birht certificate. Am I sending in photocopies of these original documents with translations, or just the translations.

I don't think I sent my original certificates because I still have them on me, maybe just the copies, hahah.

    Thanks

  8. Yes you can go and live abroad. The financials are an issue though, do you have a co-sponsor? He cannot sponsor himself, as his job will presumably stop when he immigrates to the USA.

Yes, we have co sponsors. I have to be here for the sake of our child, it would be better for me to give birth here but other than that it will be very difficult for him to support two households while the processing takes place.

  9. Why would you come to the USA at this point??? It would make a lot more sense to stay there, have a baby, and apply for I-130 in consulate there, which would make the entire process a LOT faster.

Now you have to pay two rents, you have to work, or he has to maintain two households, and as you said, you have nobody here to support you, and you have to be separated from your husband, and you deprived him of the opportunity to be present with his child from day 1.

Did you actually think it through? What was your reasoning? Plus, US is not the best place to give birth, by far...

    Makes no sense.

I have my reasons, I think it is a bit rude for you to say i am depriving him. We made a decision together for me to give birth in the states.

You really didn't give me the answer I was looking for, lol...
