Thanks for the feedback! But what about the CR-1 for immediate family members .. seems to take 7 months? Likewise, is there a Visa that one can obtain quickly that lets one's spouse come to the states and then there can be an adjustment of status? Thanks again

My wife and I are planning on moving down to the states in the next couple of months together from Canada. We currently live in Montreal. I am a US citizen and Canadian permanent resident, and she is a Canadian citizen. As we have spent many hours reading through immigration material, we still feel the need to have some guidance. Our questions are:

- What visa path do we need to take exactly for our situation?

- Is there a specific visa that will allow her to move down immediately with me?

- And, how long generally are the recommended visa waiting times?

Whatever guidance anyone here can give us would be greatly appreciated .. we are absolutely stumped!
