  1. So my expedite request was approved april 1st. they tranfer the case to the embassy in vietnam. the case get there on the 3rd. i received the interview letter on the 21st april. my interview is on May 7th( may 1, 2, 3 the embasy closed). It will move pretty fast from now on. Congrats!

And you dont have to do anything but wait for the interview letter. everything that you didnt do with nvc you will bring to the interview.:)

you do need to fill in Ds260 if you didnt do it yet

  2. I send an email (with case number, petitioner name& DOB, beneficiary name&DOB) stating the reason why your case should be expedited (with supporting document if you do have) to the email address: nvcexpedite@state.gov.

They will forward your request to your embassy and let the embassy decides. Its took us 10 days to received the approval.

Some people in the forum said that they call NVC and put the expedite request in thru the representative but i prefer to email as I can actually send supporting documents and give them the full story.

    Hope it helps!:)

  3. Nvc scan date March 2nd, I just received check list today. One for some error in I864 and one asked me to complete DS261(which I completed on Feb 19th-have confirmation for it). On the phone now waiting to talk to a representative,

Also I have expedite request approved this morning and NVC stated that they no longer processed my case, the rest will be processed at Embassy so I dont really know should i submit the checklist for them or not.

    Let see what they say.

    Will update you guys....

  4. Hi, I dont know if anyone is under the same situation as mine. I have scan date on March 2nd, submitted DS261 on Feb 19th.

I sent an email to request for expedite the case and get approval today. NVC told me on the phone today that they will nolonger process my case and it will be transfer to HCM embassy.

So will I pay the IV fee at the embassy? And what about the DS260 form? Im confused....

    Thanks for your advice!
