Thank you all for all your responses. Since my wife is currently making 40000$ by herself, I think I will not include my stipend details.

Hello,
I am a graduate student (earning a stipend of $2000 a month). My wife (US citizen) was a recent graduate with no steady job and got a job in which she earns $40000 last year. So, her tax information from last year shows very little earnings. We are applying for a change of my status from F1 to permanent resident and are currently filing Form i-864.
Now, would pay stubs from this current job, pehaps a letter of employment from her boss, tax information from 2014 and 2013 accompanied by my tax information and letter of fellowship be sufficient as evidence that we can sponsor ourselves?
Seeing our situation, do you think we need a co-sponsor?

Hi Aaron,
I am the beneficiary and she is the petitioner, so she is putting her $40000 salary there. Am I missing something here?
