My mother is in a really bad financial state and is looking to file bankruptcy. She is currently unemployed and has had trouble finding work. My husband and I are looking to ultimately bring her to the US to live with us, but she is worried that filing bankruptcy will affect her being able to come over.
From what I've read on this thread, everyone says it won't be an issue, but I just wanted to ask again in case things have changed in the meantime :-)
