  1. you shouldnt have to wait so long. I did the same processs for my husband in May 2016 i got asked for addition evidence and i had till aug 8th to send it i, we were so busy that we totally forgot and i did everything so last minute, they recieved the evidence the same day to be exact and on aug 18th he was already approved for the green card,as well today our case got updated that they already mailed out the green card. so hopefully we should recieve it by the end of this weeek. Hope yours is as soon as ours ! best wishes and good luck!

btw we didnt have to go to an interview here , we got the interview waiver letter

  2. my husband and i already got married 6 months ago, but the AOS was sent 4 months ago..still havent heard from USCIS he already did the biometrics fingerprints and already received his work authorization and his permission to travel combo card...how much longer would we have to wait for the interview?

i know its still under the normal time processing.. as well we did receive a letter from USCIS stating that we probably dont need to be interviewed

  3. Hey , so i(the petitioner) went thru the k1 visa process. my husband(the beneficary) is already in the united states , we got married last month and as of yet we havent filed for the green card. My husband has an emergency that he has to go back to his country to reaolve some legal paper issue, once he leaves the US he isnt allowed back, is there a permission he can take out to leave the us and come back with a green card? Or does anyone have a number in which we can call ? HELP ,PLEASE AND THANK YOU

  4. Hi I have also received my case number, when I checked the ceac website it said At NVC please follow directions sent to you, I have not received anything, should I go ahead and complete ds160

once you have the case number and you go ahead and start the DS-160. i did my fiance ds160 when it was at the embassy.

  5. My case was forwarded to the embassy in dominican republic on June 12,2015. On June 24,2015 the update on the Ceau website was that the case is ready for interview ( which i was informed last week because they didnt send any notice) i did fill out the ds-160 as well last week right after i found out it was ready. i called the embassy today and i was informed i should schedule my interview already.

im still confused cause i thought i was suppose to get a notice with packet 3 or 4 with the interview date.

is this something new with the embassy or what?

  6. Yes you can just print the confirmation page when you complete it. If you are unable to upload a picture you can still print the page just make sure you have extra passport picture to give them, with the ds160 confirmation page at the interview. Make sure you print extra copies of the confirmation page.

Thank you so much ! i will def get started on that! :)

    thanks to all <3 (L)

  8. Hello JenniferEstervin,

You'll get your NOA2 document in the mail soon. USCIS will also forward your file to the NVC (National Visa Center). You will get a case # (start calling them 2 weeks after they receive your file and ask for your case number and invoice ID #). Once they issue your case number your file will be sent to the embassy.

    GOOD LUCK!

Thank you so muchhh !!!! hopefully this part is faster then the wait to get approved !! :)

    Congrats my fellow NY'er!

Thank you so much ! hope the process is faster now lol !!

  9. Finallyyy SOME NEWS FROM USCIS, my Case of 7 month wait has been approved , but still haven't received my NOA2. But I did receive a text and an email saying that on May13th, 2015 my case was approved. so now what? Guess I will have to wait till next week for the NOA2 to see whats next, or can some one give me an idea of what I should get ready for

  10. I am also from Dominican Republic and my story is similar to yours, my fiancée is from Colombia and I have a NOA1 with the date of October 8th... We just need to patiently wait because if you call them you are going to waste your time, all of the agents have a similar answer that is nothing; the only thing I am a little afraid is if after this long wait I get an RFE.... Just waiting my NOA2 this month......

I guesss we do. According to this page their checking applications up to September 6th,2014 so they still haven't reached Oct yet. since its my first time I just wanted to know what I have to prepare my self for lol. we just have to be patient lol MORE THE WAIT

  11. Unfortunately you are at the Texas service centre. And they take a horribly long time to get to your petition. This can range from 6 months to a year.

But if you have gone past 6 months, you can start calling and enquiring about your petition.

You can also get in touch with your local congressman to enquire for you.

Thnaks I have called but they always tell me the same thing over and over lol hopefully this month is different and I get something in mail * crossing my fingers*
