  1. So we have yet to hear a peep.

We contacted a congressman, they sent us a letter saying they were looking into it. But that was two weeks ago.

Now I see that the TSC is working on January 19, and we filed January 7th. I'm a little bit more than peeved right now. I feel like we, along with other people, have been lost at TSC. Forgotten. :(

So I submitted an inquiry, and it said they would respond by October 15. And we are going to call to bother them again.

This is suppose to be only the first step in a long process, I have no idea even where my interview will take place. Or how I am suppose to get there. I do apologize, I know a lot of you guys are in this same boat.

    This is just ridiculous.

  2. I filed January 7th and we have yet to hear a peep.

We contacted His Congressman a few weeks ago and we just got a letter from them say "we are looking into things".

I'm not sure what that means. And every time we call in, the person sounds irritated with us, and more often than not they hang up on us.

This whole process is really starting to take its toll.

I just recently lost my brother, and being forced to realize how short life is, all i want to do is be with my fiancé. It makes me so sad to be away from him. (As I'm sure you all know this feeling).

I hope we all hear some answers soon, because truthfully this is outrageous.

Did anyone else notice that when their processing times updated they only moved forward one day?

So last time it said "as of March 20 we are processing December 20"

And now it says "as of June 30 we are processing December 21"

    Oh yeah ok guys.

  3. Ok so we just got off the phone with USCIS again, this time the woman on the phone told us that she had no idea what the other woman was talking about and we are just waiting for approval. So I have no idea why the first woman would say we are in the middle of a transfer? This is incredibly confusing.

  4. Until it's approved you cannot do anything about the consulate. It will be routed to Vancouver or Montreal depending on where the beneficiary is located. Once at the NVC you can make sure you get a VAC number for Vancouver (if you live Manitoba and west) or MTL for Montreal (if you live Ontario and east.)

Thank you so much for that information!

  5. I hope that's the case! It truly is weird. we haven't gotten any sort of notification saying we are being transferred, only one woman on the phone saying so. I will definitely update, my fiancé is phoning again when he gets off work. Hopefully they can clear things up for us.

And for the consulate; It's just to a different part in Canada.

  6. I hope Im putting this is the right place.

My finance phoned USCIS today to ask how we would go about changing the embassy that I would go to do my interview, they told him that our case is sitting in the Texas Sevice Center but it is being transferred to the California Center. Apparently we can't edit anything on our form until it gets to California. Now this really confuses me. I remember hearing about new cases being reroute to California but never any old cases actually transferring.

So now I'm concerned, if it was suppose to move wouldn't it have gone awhile ago (April when the transfer was announced)?

If anyone has any information on this I would be so grateful.

Ps, as well anyone who has changed their embassy after filing how did you go about it?
