Im going to be submitting our petition soon and have a question regarding the affidavit's.

We recently submitted my partners australian visa and recieved a bunch of affidavit's regarding our relationship. however, they were all filled out on the australian form i was given. do you think i could submit these?

Hi all,

My boyfriend is coming to Australia on a work/travel visa for 12 months and in that time we are planning on getting married.

However, we wont be getting married as soon as the 12 months begins.

This worries me as i know the CR-1 visa takes quite a while to process and if we dont give ourselves enough time his visa might be up before its approved.

Has anyone else been in this position? Will he have to return home or can they extend your stay while its being processed?

Hi all,

I am an Australian citizen and my boyfriend is a US citizen.

He is coming to Australia on a work/travel visa for 12 months and we are wanting to get married while he is here.

Ive read that Australia doesn't allow DCF but since we are both living abroad we could get our 1-130 fast tracked. Is this correct?

Does anyone have any info on this? Anything would be much appreciated!

The problem is that if you get denied for the B2, you can;t sue the VWP anymore either, at least for a while.

You may be better off splitting your road trip in two, one for 79 ish days, go home for a while then come back.

We both have flights out of the country and he has his Australian visa. We both have concrete plans on leaving, do you think they could find a reason to deny this?

Hi all! Im absolutely stumped so I need some help regarding the B-2 & VMP visa.

I currently hold a travel visa with the visa waiver program. However, I want to extend that 90 days to around 120. Is it possible to extend the VMP or do I need to apply for a B-2? Also, can I go over on the visa waiver and then apply for a B-2/extension? Or should I organize it all before I leave…

I’m not sure if its relevant but my reasoning for needing the extension is because I’m going on a road trip with my boyfriend and we underestimated how long it would take.
