Thanks for the wishes. I actually did not sent a single shred of supporting document with my Application, I only took the certified court disposition statements for my traffic tickets and had copies of other stuff like 5 yrs IRS docs, marriage certificate, green card, drivers license, expired and active passport, copies of passport. Thats it. Just for your information guys.

Hi Guys
Put my stuff in RED.
I cleared the interview and the oath the same day along with my wife.
************************
Interview was at 1:00 pm, and I reached there by 12:30 pm. I went in and gave my letter to the first window and I was told to wait. I waited for 40 minutes and then my name was called. She was a pleasant lady as soon as I went to her office she made me swear to tell the truth.
She told me to sit down and I gave her my green card, state ID (DL) and my passports(both expired and active); then she asked me to verify my name, date of birth, and nationality; then she asked me how I got my green card (through work or otherwise); then she asked me where I worked and what type of work I do; then she started going through the questions from my application Part 11 onwards till the very end.
The part where it came to the arrest, citation etc, I said I had been cited by a cop for traffic tickets; she asked if they were all under 500 and if any was for DUI for which I said there were none. She said everybody gets traffic tickets. But it was good that I had certified dispositions of all possible tickets that I could get my hands on.
Then came testing time, she gave me six questions and I passed and then she asked me to read:
1) When is Columbus Day celebrated?
I read that and then she asked me to write--Columbus Day is in the month of October.
Then she gave me a sheet saying congratulations, you passed and told me to wait outside with another sheet as the oath was to be on the same day. I waited for an hour signed my Naturalization certificate after verifying the details. Oath was held at 4:30pm and now the process of passport starts. Seems like a century! phew! but its all done.
All the best for everybody and thanks ofr this forum and all its members!!!!!!
Q1) Name one branch or part of the government
Q2) We elect a U.S. Senator for how many years?

Q4) What does the President's cabinet do?
Q5) How many justices are in the Supreme Court?
Q6) What did the declaration of Independence do? -
Hi All
Thanks for all the replies, I have a question regarding Tax--Did any of you who went for interview take any Tax document with yourself.
Did the Officer ask any Tax documents from you?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Had my interview this morning and it went well. Recommended for approval. Appointment was at 930 and I got there at 915. Was checked in and seated by 920. Got called at 940 and back in my car at 10am.
After the IO swore me in, she had me read a sentence and write down the answer. Who were the 1st people in the U.S. And " Native Americans lived here first "
I remember only a couple of questions! Lol! Who was the first president and where is the Statue of Liberty located
Then we went through my application. I stopped her when she asked about question 23 since I had answered no. I told her that I had speeding tickets with the last one in 2008. She asked me for the dates, I told her that I did not remember I tried to get my driving record to get information and got a clean record without any ticket. I showed her the driving record and she said she'd keep it. The. Gave her approximate date of the last ticket being in 2008. She asked where, and said any ticket prior to that they wouldn't care, I guess because it'd be more than 7 years, as long as they were resolved and closed. So she wrote down only the one from 2008.
After all that I signed at bunch of papers and she told handed me the letter with congratulations and we started chatting about other things
Now just waiting for the oath letter and will be done with USCiS forever
Thanks VJ for everything and best wishes to the rest still in the process
Congratulations!
Question---You answered no and you stopped her on 23 so sort of confessed you did not provide the correct information(don't take me wrong). I have checked yes and my interview is on 1st June and i have been scrambling to collect certified disposition letters from court.--Maybe its a complete waste of time --just my driving history from the state should suffice. Any thoughts?
One more question--were you given multiple choice in the civics test?
