Unfortunately Air Malta only hires people who speak Maltese, I went to an English speaking school here and never learnt it. Anyway thanks for your replies everyone, I'll take it from here

Hi everyone,

I am British but I have lived in Malta for the past 9 years, I'm 21 and for the past year or so have decided i want to work with the airline industry as a flight attendant. I know I could get this job with a UK airline and move back there without any problems, but its my dream to live in the US. I have tried searching about visas but really don't understand which one I would need to apply for? Also would I need to get a job with an airline first so they could sponsor me for the visa? Does anyone know how this works? I'm aware I'm being ambitious and this could take a lot of time, but I really want this. Does anyone know of anyone who has done this and where I should start?
