I understand that, he has his first hearing on December 7th.2020 but his 90 days window to send in his I751 expires November 30th.2020.

Hello,
I have a friend that needs to file his I751,and unfortunately, him and his wife will get a divorce after his 90 days window expires; I have to mention she doesn't agree to file jointly.
Any advice on what can be done in this situation?
I see there is a waiver option but he doesn't have the situations mentioned in there in order to file separately.
Thank you!

I have been scheduled for an N400 interview on January 9h.2019 and today I got a letter saying my I-751(ROC) was a transferred to Lee’s Summit,MO...I have read I might not be able to go thru my interview if the GC doesn’t get combined with my interview?Thank you!

I really want my marriage to work, I didn't marry him to divorce later, I don't look at my life as I am an immigrant and he is the US Citizen, I care about having my family together and I'm shocked he's being so rude...I feel he has bipolar depression like he's late brother, I don't know anymore what to think.
From physical to verbs abuse, to passing out while watching our baby, all these happened and he promised to not let it happen but most of us know what those words mean actually, I'm not that naive.
He says he doesn't like me anymore and all other offenses.
He does have a 3 year old with somebody else, we "share custody" but the boy is not on his name, she was 17 when she got pregnant and the authorities don't know who the actual dad is.
We live in Wisconsin and I believe the law says we have to wait 6 months after we file for divorce until is all complete...
Why does the person who files has control? I want to have the family together and I can't have control over anything if he files?
By the way, I just got home and acts like nothing happens...
Irony of life: I have a social work degree, imagine that!

Hi, I have a few worries in regards to my husband's intention to end our marriage, he is been threatening me he will file and taking our child away from me.
I have the 2 year GC so I know there are risks if we get divorced.
To be honest, he has real drinking problems and he doesn't always seem to be responsible for our baby, I am scared he might pass out and not be able to watch her.
I am wondering if somebody could help me with an explanation of what can happen, what could be done if we end up getting a divorce, I definitely don't want to lose my baby.
He's income situation is not good, he doesn't pay taxes, has debt and doesn't seem he will ever plan to deal with any of those issues.
I am reading about this subject everywhere but I still confuse d with what the proceedings are.
Thank you,I appreciate our answers.
I hope you all had a beautiful 4th of July.

Before I do anything, if I am not currently working and my husband is looking for a job, what options do we have?
-
Hi, all!!
I have some concerns about health insurance...I have my two year GC but I'm in the state of WI and I don't qualify for Badger Care anymore after having my baby.
What are my options so that I continue having insurance from December since BadgerCar expires at the end of this month?
Thank you!

Hi, I wanted to share with all of you out e perform e at the interview.
We had the app. at 9:20 AM in Milwaukee and around 9:30 we got in; the IO was a middle aged lady, with a professional attitude but not less positive.
She invited us in her office and she asked first my husband some general questions like name, address, date and place of birth, etc.
After that, she asked me, the beneficiary, the same things and also the long list of questions; last, she wanted to see if we have more e idem e added to the file that shows our relationship is bona fide and she said the following:
"At this point, I don't see a problem not to approve your case; if I need more documents, we will informe you but you should be expecting your green card by mail between 4-6 weeks, these days, even faster. Don't forget within 90 days before 2 years of marriage to apply for ROc".
She didn't keep my passport though!

Hi, again! I've been looking for support regarding my interview which is next Monday and they are asking me in the check list to bring documents that make me eligible for LPR! My AOS is based on marriage with my husband who is an American citizen, so I need some clarification to what I need to bring that shows eligibility!
Thank you so much for all your help!

Please, make 2 more files for yourselves of the one that you are sending because they will probably ask for some of those papers again with first interview.
For second interview, probably they would want to see more evidence...
For this one I do have joint account, car insurance, pics, plane ticket, baby on the way:))...We will do more for 2nd one but for now, that's what I have to show them! Hope it helped.

It's good to have them ahead of time, saves a lot of headache.
In the letter, theydo requested the most recent w2s, bills, etc form the last 2 months...now, this migh be different but as an wxame of what else they might need.
-
I sent the original translation with my package and I am taking copies with me at the interview.
They did say in the letter they sent us to bring originals and copies since they migh keep the originals if no cooies are abaine so I have 2 files with copies or the whole package I already sent.

I am adding my husband to my account so we have a joint account before interview, we have a family phone plan with his parents also, same address, a baby on the way, we've been together since 2012, have a plane ticket in our names and a few pics from our court marriage, besides the album I'm putting together since we first met.We don't forgot the moment but our plan would be rather both get a job in fall or I will and he could stay home with the baby...this is the only story we've got, that's what we'll share with IO.
Also, I forgot to mention, we do have car insurance in both our names. We got married in Jaunary so ecerything else will come with time.
-
I just feel they ask some strange questions sometimes and even if the answer it's easy, some of us just get stuck...I guess that's the only answer I would have, I won't start building up stories...
Thank you for your time in answering!

I'm sorry for the confusing post, we actually got an interview appointment, my father in law is the sponsor since my husband, the petitioner had 0$ income for last 5 years. My question is, if we are questioned at the interview why he hasn't been working or his plans for future since we are expecting a baby, the reason mentioned above is going to put a red flag to our situation?
-
Hi, VJ friends, I posted this before but I didn't get an answer, please, if you could come with some advice, it's greatly appreciated!
My husband hasn't worekd for the last 5 years because he agreed to take care of his grandparents farm after they passed away and his parents offered him the house to live in it for free since he dedicated his time to look for the property.
How is this for the interview?
I know somebody posted a similar situation but I can't find who they were.
Thank you for your time and answers!

Hi, guys, I received a letter today saying I have to go to the interview on Julay 27th.( I'll update my status asap)
I have a few concerns and I would need your advice, please.
First, my husband hasn't work since 2010 because he lived in his grandparents house and took care of it after their death and his dad took care of the bills as long as he help to keep the property in good shape.
We got married in Jan and I dropped of classes while on F1 because we got pregnant and I needed some time off( but I can't wait to go back to school, I love it)
Now, my question is, what red flags we would have in this situation?
We have been together since 2012, have plenty of pictures and just got a joint account. Of course, baby Elizabeth is on her way!
He will get a job soon since we are a family and we can't be on mommy and daddy's suport for too long!
Thank you for your time to give me some advice!
PS: I am freaking out and getting exited in the same time!!!

Thank you all, everybody is so sweet!

Where do I find these filling groups? I'm confused with where to look on the site.
Also, I got the I-797Cs for all the forms I sent and I did my biometrics...I know it's a waiting time for the EAD, I hopped it would come faster:p but I guess, it will be sometime in July.

At for him beating a full time employee, that is decided by the contract that the company gave him...from what I e peruse veg, full time is min 30?! hours a week, so I would calculate an average of 30-35 hours a week for him with his hourly wage....and from there figure out how much his annual income would be.
-
Like SBB, my husband wrote that:
"To whom it may concern,
I, the petitioner, (but his/her name), I didn't not file faxes for the years ( name years) because my income (he put $0) was under the IRS requirements"
With respect and appreciation,
(Name of petitioner and signature)

Hi, there,I have a question about the waiting time regarding my EAD:
I sent my documents on April 16th with receival notice on 24th and I am wondering when I should expect an update about my work authorization card since that one should arrive first and the fastest.
Thank you so much!

I would recommend going back and ask for original, you always have the original with you, and they keep copies. I would call ahead and explain what the situation is and you guys need it since is a major step is your lives. I'm not sure if at the interview it's necessary but I would want my originals to stay in my hands, it's our chase, they don't need anything else besides copies(DMV)

Hi, yes, his dad can help, we did the same, but other have to file I-864, separately, your husband will be the petitioner and his father, the only sponsor.
Yiur father in law n weds to make over the 125% so you don't need a joint sponsor and if he is retired and filled jointly, he will have to show his separate income than his wife.

I did some research, and I believe this is the best route.
Just for general knowledge, where did you get that information? Could you send me the link? Thank you!
