My oath ceremony will be scheduled on July 22nd. That means I'll be able to get American passport and fly to Europe on 27th. I'll wear a navy blue sleeveless dress on the oath day. Hopefully I'll see some VJ's members there, like Tom&Carol. My immigration journey is ended here. Yayyyyy. Thanks and good luck to everyone ???

To Carol$Tim: sorry I'm replying too late. She asked me very basic questions: tell me your address? Are you guys still together ? Who supported you when you were In school? What does your husband do? What's his full name? dOB? ...........

i've passed the naturalization in the 23rd. It got delayed for 10 days. My appointment was at 10:50 and I got there at 10. I checked in and waited for exact 50 minutes to be called at USCIS builing. The questions were very easy. I got the first 3 ones right so she skipped the rest. She told me to read 1 sentence and write one sentence. The thing is I feel like this interview was not focus on the civics questions. It was all about my marriage. She asked me tons of questions about my relationship with my partner after the first part. I was finished after abut 30 minutes. I will receive the oath ceremony appointment letter in the mail within 1 to 3 months. Now I have a big issue. I have a Europe trip coming up on the 28th of July? Will I be able to get my passport before I go? ?Without an American passport I can't go. How long does it take to have a passport? I don't mind paying more to get it fast. I have a Vietnamese passport that is a pain in the ### to get a visa to Europe. I live in Los Angeles . Thanks everyone

I got my first green card on 25th April 2012

Permanent GC December 2014

Sent fee waiver and N400 march 3

Priority date mar 6.

I-797C today March 18, I-912 fee waiver approved

However I don't understand the last sentence of I-797C: uon receipt of all required Record Checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office.

I thought that the next step would be biometrics appointment????

What's going on with my case? I want to travel out of the country in April this year
