Just a little info for my Jamaican peeps. on the day of my husband interview, to my surprise they let me in the Embassy with him. I don't know if it was my lucky day or the petitioner is now allowed to go in Embassy. Who knows! Anyways, if your spouse is with you try and see if they will let you both go in. JUST A LITTLE INFO!

We had interview today, hubby was approved. They kept his passport but so confusing because status still says ready. anyway they did not ask for anything, only two questions. who filling for you how long do you know each other. but why status still says ready. so confusing!

Y is it taking so long for jamaica to schedule an interview date anybody?

Guys my cc was 01/05 and i just did my interview last monday. What i notice when i was there was that they finish interviews at midday after that i guess its just paper work and processing after the visa packages. So i dont know if thats why its taking so long for kibgston to open interview slot.

Just got back from the embassy (Jamaica). Got there about 8:30am and got in about 9:15, registered sat and waited. Called my number about 9:45, delivered my medical packet and passport and was fingerprinted. Asked who was filing for me and i answered. Was told to have a seat and waited for 25-30 mins. Called back to the window again where i took an oath and signed a document attesting that all i have presented is true and was asked if i ever lived abroad, how long i have known my spouse, if we have any kids, if i had any pictures. Showed her a mini album i made and she scanned thru quickly and gave me back the pics and said thats all i can go home. I asked if i will be contacted and she said yes u have registered with dhl and I left the building approximately 10:30am. I suppose it was approved as they kept the passport and i was not handed any green or yellow slips. Even though i waited a bit outside once inside it was a smooth and relatively quick process

Hey guys my daughter and I visa was approved on Monday. But I have to send in some supporting documents, am sending them off tomorrow. Anyone have any idea how long after they receive the doc will it take to issue the visa?I would like to be with my husband by the end of the month.

Oh no dwheels please don't leave or close this forum ?. I honestly don't know how I would have made it tru this whole process without you and this forum. Me and my husband has been waiting for two years for this process to be over and am finally gonna have my interview on Monday which is our 2 year anniversary. So for everyone out there just be patient and pray. Dwheel is right its getting so depressing in here. This is not the way it use to be. I come here to be uptifted by other ppl joy and success. It give me hope. Dwheel please don't close it.

My hubby interview went well. He said they only asked him three questions. How did we met? When did we met? How old is he...lol... they didnt take the dhl paper we printed after registering. Do i need to email this information to the embassy? They only told him that they will call when his visa is ready to be picked up.

I'm back home guys I just left the embassy. It's all a daze right now. I was only asked two questions. How I met my husband and what he does. She then gave me the pamphlet about domestic violence and said u can leave. She didn't say I was approved or anything. However they did keep my passport.

I'll give you a full in depth details as I'm still in shock.

Just heard from hubby! Pending his medical they said he is approved!! His medical is delayed because we were expedited and they had 2 squeeze him in. He said she asked how & when we met, what kind of work I do, has he ever been 2 the states & why does he feel that we deserved to be expedited. He said she was very nice. They kept his passport & said he will get it back with the visa! Thank you everyone for all of ur support!!!
