I'm in a similar situation, although I haven't had to wait quite as long as you. Ours was approved on March 27th and as of Monday they still had no record of receiving it at the NVC, it's been 5 weeks now. It' a bit odd condidering I've seen quite a few at CSC approved a week or two after ours that have already got to their consulates....

We got our approval on 27th March and my fiancee called yesterday and they still haven't received it apparently. It's taken longer to get to the NVC than it did to get the approval!

Hi all,
New to the site. Recently filed our I-129F and just had a couple of questions that hopefully you'll be able to answer in your experience.
1. Received a 'Receipt' in the mail around 10 days ago. It had the service centre number and a number to call to validate I am the person filing the petition. Is this the NOA1? The automated message said they would be sending another letter shortly outlining how they would be processing our case. Question is is the receipt the NOA1 or is the letter they're about to send the NOA1?
2. Can check my case on the USCIS case status checker. Currently says 'Case was Received'. Does this change much over the course of hopefully receiving the NOA2, or does it just flick from that to Approved?
Thanks any advice would be much appreciated!

I think it means when you put your NVC case number into CEAC and it comes back with your status. At the top of the box that pops up saying "Ready" etc the heading is Nonimmigrant VISA Application. My date changed to 06/25 yesterday and it says Nonimmigrant VISA Application, though status still says Ready.
