  1. Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me.

On October 2015, my ex fiance had an interview for our K1 fiance visa. I withdrew the petition by writing a letter to the Manila embassy. My ex fiance still attended the interview and forged my signature on some of the documents, which she admitted to me later. She was approved. While she was waiting for her visa, my withdrawal was processed by the Manila embassy and they informed me that the case was no longer under their jurisdiction and that they sent it back to USCIS - they e-mailed me on Nov 2, 2015. I checked the status of the visa and it stated "Transfer in Progress". It has been 1 year and 8 months, and the status still says transfer in progress. My ex fiance recently messaged me saying she is trying to apply for a tourist visa, but she got denied because her previous case was still open. I am not sure if she is telling the truth or if she just wants to see if there is a chance to reopen this case. On a side note, she is a huge scammer - she got married to someone in Germany a few weeks after she found out I withdrew the petition and is now trying to scheme someone else in the United States.

    My questions are:

    1. If I am planning on filing another petition for a different beneficiary, do I need to close my previous one or has it automatically closed since it's been a while?

    2. Do I need to send waivers or other documents when I send in my second K1 visa application?

    3. How do I report my ex fiance for fraud? (she also scams people in her country for money)

Thank you in advance for all the help!

  2. Hi all,

Just wanted to get some advice.

My fiance and I are so sad to hear the news that she has to go through the sputum test. She had a procedure done when she was younger, which left a scar in her lungs. On day 2 of her medical at St. Luke's, they informed her that she needs a sputum test and that it will take two weeks. We thought everything was good after day one because they told her to come back for releasing the next day.

My fiance is feeling so discouraged.

She has always been negative for her past sputum tests, but she's worried about her results this time. She's healthy, but often gets a cold. Currently, she has a cold and is coughing.. After a few sleepless nights and stress. Her first sputum test in schedule in 4 days and she is worried.

Can someone here who has had to get a sputum test share their experience with us? I know the early and late signs of tb, but has anyone here ended up with a positive sputum test but lacked early signs and symptoms?

    Thank you all in advance!

  3. Thank you so much for your help, @Darnell and @Hank_

The notice said that if I don't call them within 180 days, I will need to file a new I-129f, so I thought it may have affected our application. I was told a service request was done.. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for that to go through?

@Darnell, I should have had my mail held.. I wasn't aware that USCIS never forwards mail :( Lesson learned.

I really appreciate your help! Thank you!

  4. Hi all,

I need your help or advice regarding my situation. I left my home state and will be gone for two months and had my mail forwarded to another state for the time being. I received my text and email approval for the I-129f on June 18th. On June 24th, I received an email stating that the post office returned my document(noa2) to USCIS.

I was wondering if anyone has any information regarding this situation? I called USCIS to let them know of my situation, and they told me that they do not forward mail, which is why it was returned. They said they put in a service request, but the girl I spoke with just requested it to be sent to the same permanent address. I cancelled my mail to be forwarded to prevent any problems. Does anyone know if this affects when I can get the case number from NVC? Is there any way to track the service request? My main concern is if this undeliverable mail causes a delay in USCIS forwarding my case to NCV.

I really hope someone could help me out!

    Thank you!
