As I understand, the seaferer has to go home to her country and re-enter US with K1 visa which is doable. The clarification I have is will it not cause K1 application to fail if the fiancee is a seaferer holding a C1/D during the time of application?
There is no intention of directly changing c1/d to spousal visa and marry in US. but the intention is to file K1 and once approve to fly to US and enter using the K1 visa and then get married and adjust the status from there.
