I had interviewed Sept 21, approved and I don't get 221g. Bit confused most of my batch that date got their visa already. I wanna know if anyone had experience like this long. Please enlighten me. Heres my timeline from interview date: K1

Sept21-24 READY

Sept28-Oct5 ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING

I am not an expert sis but it shouldnt take that long to be on ap (since usem in manila issues visas really fast) based on other timelines here on vj. But once in a while they have cases thats in ap longer than yours. All we can do now is wait... maybe theyre just double checking your documents to make sure everything is in order...

yeah sis. but on the other hand, i also asked in our facebook group if anyone experiencing like this. what she told me is she dont get 221g or she dont see any problems on her docs but the thing happened to her is its been issued for like day then go back to ap for like 3 days, she had her interview Sept 16. weird! till now she's not yet visa on hand.

Still no update sis? usem in manila dont take a long time to issue visas. Hmmm... what was the instruction given to you when yourr done with your interview? Can you call usem to get some update on your case?

Step5: ok your approved mam and your papers are ok, just wait till our 2go courier text you to pick up your visa from your selected pick up location. Thats the lady told me sis. I called and email them and their response is the same script. Wait until my visa process then the 2go will text me for pick up. Bit worried because most of my batch on sept 21 interviewed this date got their visa last friday. And never get ap like that long

Anyone here got 4 days READY and AP for like 5 days? I dont get any 221g.

I never got any 221g form after the interview, I even ask the CO if they needed my fiance' requirements like the affidavit of support, transcript, w2, pay stubs,cert of employment, bank cert but she said 'no, I have no problem on you or your application, but I will put you on review or under administrative processing, but we never know when is the review finish so hold on and we are going to send you an email'.

Me too he never ask any of my fiance's financial support only divorce paper and annulment paper. He approved me and I never heard any that I will get into administrative processing. My other batch got their visa yesterday and others are issued. Bit worried that my case last touch was Sept. 28. Hopefully we get off from this so called blackhole. I tried to call and email them but same script that just wait for the 2go courier text to pick up my visa.

My case is different. I had my interview last Aug 6 and the CO said that they will put my case on review or under administrative processing. She took my passport, Police Clearance Abroad, CENOMAR, NBI, and Birth Certificate. She never ask my fiance' requirement but just told me to wait until they send me an email. She glance the picture that we have and ask if he sends me money. I was under AP for 57 days now and we are still waiting. My CGI status for the 1st week was that my passport is in the USEM and on the 2nd week i see nothing the but blank. At CEAC still on AP but they touch my case Aug 6, Aug 31, Sept 22 and Oct 2. Im a kind of worried because i dont want to expire my Medical which is only good for 6 months. I never know when will my CEAC status change.

Im sorry to hear that. Based on what our group said maybe its a case to case basis. Did you try to email them or call them? And also did she get 221g?

I had my interview last Sept21 and its approved. My visa status was 4days in READY, 5days in AP. Last touch update was on Sept. 28. Then in USTRAVELDOCS dashboard it dont show anything. Because the last few days it said my passport still in embassy. But now theres nothing. Anyone who had experience like this before?

Any ideas about my visa status which is already 4 days AP in CEAC and passport status which is only delivery information in CGI? The past few days it said its still in embassy then when I checked this morning thats showed in cgifederal. Thanks!

I email usem manila about my visa status then got email from usem manila today. But in ceac still AP.

My fiancee had her interview September 10 in Manila. The consular said we are approved and she should have her passport and visa in 5 to 10 working days. We have been stuck in "ready" ever since. The CEAC site tooltip went from check back in 2 days then changed to ready for interview. Needless to say my fiancee and i are not feeling good about it. I called the embassy today and they said i should just wait for 2go to contact her. I hope to hear something this week.

I'm still waiting too in my visa status. And till now its READY: said " Your case is open. Please check your status after two business days via the CEAC launch page. I don't know if I have to be worry about this but others already in AP and ISSUED status but mine still in READY

Very doubtful. If they wanted to deny, they would have earlier. Instead, fiancée cases change to Ready because they match up with your AA number you got from your DS-160 and it changes from Immigrant to Nonimmigrant. Your case creation date has also changed, yes? It's being prepared for issuance! Yay! You will go in AP as it's being processed for printing, then issued after that.

The embassy emailed us confirming that our visa package is being prepared for final issuance. Other cases are in AP and being issued as of July 20th but ours just wasn't in that batch. They are on a long holiday this week now.

I expect you should have yours before next Wednesday!

Yes, some just take longer. Some others have posted that they were in Ready for two or three weeks after they have been approved.

It's frustrating, but it will come. This delay just happens. Nothing is wrong.

Finally I'm almost to the last step. I passed my medical exam in SLEC. And I'm gonna have my interview on Sept. 21 and everything's ready. And I'm hoping other March filers will also have a smooth process and I'm praying for TSC's. God bless us all.

Congratulations!! Also, thanks for posting the medical / interview dates. Did you schedule them online? Were there many dates available? My partner lirves in Cebu and we are hoping for our NOA2 this week. Our hope is that it will get to NVC quickly so we can get the MNL # and he can make appointments online. I was hoping he could get medical/interview back to back so he wont have to fly to and fro twice. I am not sure they do that.

after your approval wait for 10 business days and you can start calling NVC for your case number...

nvc contact number:

you can call them Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. EST to 12:00 midnight EST.

if you got the case number which started MNL followed by 10 digit numbers..

click immigrant and enter the case number..you can check it at:

ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

after checking your status..make sure the status of your visa are:

AT NVC - meaning ur papers still sitting at their office

IN TRANSIT - meaning ur papers are on the way to USEM Phils

READY - ur papers already received by the USEM Phils

then you can start paying ur visa fee at Bank of Philippine Islands..bring your mrv together with your passport and money...
