  1. My wife came to the USA on a K1 Visa, in 2015 she left 3 small children in Philippines to bring to USA later. We had a car accident with injuries and it delayed our AOS process, and getting her kids here to the USA. Can i claim my wife, and her 3 kids as i have been supporting them with all their needs while still in the philippines for over 2 years? Not complaining just need to know. i love her kids the same as i love my own

  2. Hello everyone in VJ. I want to start by saying Thank God my wife and i are finally together! Also thanks to VJ and all who helped us along the way! My Asawa arrived here in USA in October of 2015. We were married shortly after and had a wonderful ceremony. After she arrived we have had some financial suprises including a car accident we were both in. So we are adjusting her status now. While my wife and i were sitting in our car at a red light, we were hit by a drunk driver from the rear. The man who hit us never touched the brakes so we got hit really hard and had to go straight to the ER for treatments and we are still in treatment now. Long story short now we are trying to adjust my wifes status and dont have the money as a result of me being out of work. I called the USCIS and explianed and they mentioned to fill out a I-912 Fee Waiver Form? I need to Adjust my wifes status then get her 3 kids here to the USA from the Philippines. Will filling out the i-912 hurt us or hurt getting the kids here? I just really need some help??? Currently i am filling all papers out but before i send i want to make sure i am doing the right thing. Also if there is any quicker way to get her children here quicker I love them as my own and also want my wife to be united with her kids as soon as possible. Please any help is always appreciated???

  3. So we received our letter from the US Embassy saying we are ready to schedule our medical exam and Interview. But we are still waiting on our passport appt? We have all other IDs in hand already.

Originally we tried to schedule this past July, but we were told they weren't accepting any more appts for July due to technical problems and typhoons???

They schededuled us for August 19th then they messaged us and switched it to Aug 11th, then back to Aug 19th. Then we just got another message saying they are moving our appt to Sept 18th.

Is there anyway we can get a faster passport appt w the DFA because our time for our I 129 F expires October 10th and we want to finish this process as soon as we can??? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance and best of luck to all of you.

  4. Ok so we have our NOA1, NOA2, and received our letter from the US Embassy saying we are ready to schedule our medical and visa interview. The problem is our passport appt was the 19th of Aug, then they moved it to the 11th of Aug, then back to the 19th of Aug, and now they reschedule again for Sept 18th. We are at a standstill and cannot schedule our medical and interview until we get our passport. Are there anyways to get a quicker appt. For the passport??? Or to get it somewhere else???

We are both really disappointed but know this happens sometime. Any help regarding this situation is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!!
