Dear Forumers,
Can someone please explain for F4 sibling visa documents :
1. Do we need to submit just copies of Birth certificates (Me and my Sister) or should these copies need to be attested? How about all other documents requested ,do they need to be just photocopies of originals or attested photocopies?(like USA citizenship/Naturalisation )
2. I am also submitting Affidavit from my Mother.Should i submit the original affidavit or just photocopy ?
Please help.

Dear Forumers,
The I-130 form says that we need one common parent for sibling visa. My sister is applying for my sibling visa and we have same parents .Our Mother name is correct in both of our birth certificates but am just missing an letter from my dads name in my birth certificate ( who is not alive now and never had his birth certificate)
Since the form says in order to apply we need one common parent and our Mother name is right ,can i just apply as it is or can i get an affidavit from my mom to confirm that my birth certificate is missing a letter in my dads name .
Please advice.

Dear Jimmy,
Before name change:
My sisters name : SUE + Maiden name
Her Husband name : DAVID
After name change:
My sisters name : SUE DAVID NIVEN
Her Husband name : DAVID NIVEN
Both my sister and her husband added NIVEN during name change. Where "NIVEN" relates to a specific religion/caste.
Thanks Jimmy.

Thanks for your reply Jimmy,
My sister has added her Husband first name to her name . Her maiden name is now her Husband"s first name.
1.If a marriage certificate is not available what other documents will be treated as evidence?
2. Is there any way that she can get evidence or certificate from a file where the judicial ceremony has taken place to show the name change ?
Please advice.

Dear Members,
My sister who is an American citizen and petitioner for i130 has added a caste word to her name during citizenship ceremony .So instead of being "x" before citizenship she has changed her name to "x REDDY" during citizenship ceremony. She does not have court order or proof like naturalization form.
1.What documents does she need to show to USICS about her name change evidence ?
2.If its just an affidavit from my sister will USICS accept it? (I was advised by some just an self affidavit with notary public should be enough)
3.What does the affidavit has to say -is there any format ?
Please advice.

HI aleful ,
Thanks for your reply .Unfortunately I am in Australia and citizen here. My Birth place is India. I do have evidence that my Mothers name is spelled correctly in my sisters birth certificate (like my mothers Passport, Govt ID, School certificates). As i told before i am just missing one word from my birth certificate and it will not be feasible to travel to india to get this corrected, is there any other way?
Thank you very much.

Good Morning Forumers,
Hope you can help me. My sister an US citizen planning to file F4 visa for me ( i am her younger brother). We have same biological Father and Mother. I believe we just need to show one parent in common to show brother/sister relation. My Birth certificate is missing one letter of my mother and one letter of my dad compared to my sisters birth certificate.
How can i overcome this issue? If a correction or document is needed what documents are they?Should i collect the documents based on my sisters certifcate or my certificate.
Please let me know
