I need your help friends,

NVC closed my mom case almost 2 weeks ago and still no e-mail to confirm that, and for my dad we received the e-mail because his case was 3 weeks before my mom.I don't understand why,plus we don't have interview date.

Also they told us that we have to change some information on i834 because we missed one part, so we have to change and came at the interview we change document.

In the part of Place of Birth where is the STATE/PROVIDENCE we didn't put anything because we don't have providence.City where I am born is Kumanovo,and Counrty is Macedonia, what should I put like State/Providence?

We have no expectations/guess-timations/timelines anymore so I ended up booking a flight for my husband today to come visit me. So looking forward to each moment we'll have together!! Best of luck for you as you await an interview. Your in my thoughts & prayers.

Kels, I was scared that maybe my case is not supervisor review , and my attorney called them today(I call them two days ago), and for the second time they told him that case is under review, not to worry about that. I think that once they put supervisor review they can't lie, plus the conversation is under monitoring.But as we can see everything is possible, so better check then sorry.I will call them next week, it's enough stress for me

I called and the nice lady "jay" put my case under supervisor review because it was supposed to be reviewed already...

Now i dont know if its going to take %^#}^ 45 days... Im so frustrated...

They put my mom's case under supervisor review because scan date is 01/22 , more then 60 days passed.Crazy, but in my opinion they not gonna wait more the two weeks to close the case

Spoke to a nice NVC rep named Todd, he was kinda shocked/perplexed that our case had not been reviewed and then had to manually request that it be sent to his supervisor. I heard him typing it up on his keyboard.

I really wish I could have a tour of the NVC. He said it "shouldn't take too long but allow at least a week. It takes 2-3 days after she (supervisor) requests the transfer to get to her desk." The last part didn't really make sense to me but I guess if my file was just neglected I should be happy that it is going to move somewhere. Someone is going to touch it finally. Will continue praying for a favorable outcome. Glad I got Todd as my rep today he was helpful and took initiative. Grateful for that.

Thank God that u had such a nice rep.Praying for all of us. My case is the same under supervisor review , we will see till when.Probably some of the officers are slower then other, and that is the reason why our cases are left behind.

Giving up control. Do what you can but let go of what is out of your control. It is easier said than done but when I get home from work and away from the computer I try to stay off this site, the CEAC site, and just LIVE LIFE. Get involved with a new hobby, read, volunteer. Count the blessings that you do have today! I know friends that are dealing with loss of children, parents, or divorces, and I just remind myself that this small inconvenience, while it feels HUGE, will pass and I'm grateful for the many things I've been blessed with.

I realize stressing and worrying over things you cant fix will drive you insane. understand that there is nothing consistent about any part of this process. so to answer your question what helps me is that knowing that the end result is your family with you and this is just a process it will not last forever. long yes forever no. I know its hard but try your best just not to worry about the time .. it will end promise.. it has to .. follow the steps get those involved that need to be and in a few months everything will be done and over with , your almost at the end just a few hiccups maybe but NVC must give us CC lol weather they like it or not!!!

Please tell me how u handle waiting time.So far I was very positive, and now after they told me about my mom's case supervisor review I am very worried.Waiting is killing me, and everything is getting so complicated

Unfortunately I haven't had any luck with that and have called almost every day for the past 2 weeks. After I hit 60 days the speech changed from "it takes 60 days to review" to "it takes AT LEAST 60 days to review". I really don't think the reps have much information to share unless it is currently under review which pops up on their monitors.

So I don't blame them at all but I guess my concern now is that my file is lost somewhere, so I'm thinking maybe the congressman approaching them will at least force them to locate the file and bring to their attention I'm on day #67. Who knows! But calling the reps certainly isn't getting me anywhere. The lady I spoke with today even said "I don't know what date they are processing. They don't give us that info."

Look up your state senators and give one a call. I had to fill out a release of privacy form but followed up this afternoon and the secretary was reaching out to her contact at NVC. It is worth a shot!

I got the lady on the phone and she said supervisor took the case.When I ask her why supervisor took the case, she said because case is not closed for 60 days.

Please can u tell me your experience with supervisor review ,and why is that happening?She said that we will wait around 40 days, BUT PROBABLY BEFORE?I am so upset !!!
