  1. My AOS was approved on May 4th 2016. We received the notice on May 10th. The online status changed to approved on May 11th.

The card production order has not been made yet. Tried calling USCIS but as with everything else, they said we have to wait. And it may take up to 60 days.

Anyone else facing issues with delayed GC production?

Same here!! I guess we have to wait.. it never ends lol! Hopefully we receive it soon!

  2. Im the same position, and I was just about to post a topic about it before i saw this. And as unfortunate as it is.. Im glad Im not the only one!

My application was approved May 3rd, received the "Welcome/Congratualations" letter a few days later, and my online case status also says Case is approved.

I guess Im being impatient because this week could still count as the 3rd week... :)

Im in no rush to get it, Ive already have my EAD and Advance Parole Card. But it would be nice to not have to deal with USCIS for a while....!

Hope we all receive it with no problems!

  3. My I-485 package was returned to me today along with form I-797c notice of action. On it it states;

"Your I-485, fees, and any supporting documentation is being returned to you for the following reasons:

The payment amount is incorrect or has not been provided."

It was to my understanding the payment was $1,010, according to some of the topics on this site.. then i checked the dates of those topics. They were created back in 2008. Now I've learned the cost is actually $1,070. DUUUUUHH, I'm so annoyed with myself.

My main concern is the state the papers/forms were returned to me. The forms and the evidence have been stapled together, stamped and marked with a pen at the bottom of the pages. Do i return them in the same current state they were returned to me or do I have to have to re arrange them as I did when I first sent the package?
I'm also going to include 2 new forms that I previously had not included in the I-485 package, Form I-765 and Form I-131.
Should I include a new cover page stating the new forms I have included in the package?
    I appreciate any feedback
  4. Hey! I sent my I-485 package this week and according to the tracking number it has arrived in Chicago.

I didn't include the I-131 and I-765 in the package ( I feel foolish for not including them now, but what can I do)

I was wondering when is the best time to send them? I saw somewhere in the forum that I have to wait until i get the AOS NOA? And that I should include that with the the forms? I'm no massive rush to get the approvals as we're not struggling with money and the I-131 is just incase of an emergency.

I tried searching if anyone else had posted a similar question but I had no luck! :P Thanks in advance!

  5. Currently at this time my husbands most recent tax year is 2014, and we've gathered all the papers needed for 2014, 2013 and 2012. But I'm wondering whether it's wiser to wait until he receives his 2015 tax refund, which he'll receive hopefully in the next month/3 weeks. Any chance that by the time they receive our AOS package that 2014 won't be considered as the most recent tax year? For example if I send the AOS next week, will it matter? I don't want to slow our process down by not providing the correct papers.

This stuff is giving me headache lol! I hope I'm not being confusing!

    Thanks in advance!

  6. I'm getting ready to send out the forms for the Adjustment of Status, and the only thing that's uncompleted is my US vaccination requirements. I was told that I should get the varicella shot when applying for AoS, but I'm not sure when I should get it done. Should i get it before sending the forms and provide evidence from doctor/civil surgeon along with the DS-3025?

I have history of having chicken pox and the physician ticked the Varicella history box, but am I right to think that this alone is not enough evidence?

    Thankyou in advance!

  7. Yeah my timeline, that's something I'll fill up, my petition is valid from 22 Jan 2015, my interview is on 22 April. I already have the letter of intent to marry, I got him to write and sign it when I visited in February just incase I needed to revalidate the petition. ?

Forgot to mention my petition is valid until 5/21/2015 ? slowly filling my timeline out ?

  8. What the London checklist may not tell you is --

    Appointment letter

    DS-160 confirmation

Receipt for paying the visa fee

You don't have a timeline so I can't tell if your petition will be expired by the interview.

  9. Here's what Visa Journey posted

Not sure what it's like in London.

I would bring everything, nicely organized in a filebox

    FOR A LONDON INTERVIEW

NO1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one). Your fiance(e) should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well).

NO2. Send copies of the documentary proof that you submitted with the I-129F for your fiance(e) to have on hand for their interview at the embassy. Your fiance(e) should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well).

NO 3. Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F).

YES 4. I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence.

NO, just ONE proof 5. You will need several items (for the above form). Gather duplicate evidence of income and resources as appropriate:

NO (A) Statement from an officer of the bank/financial institution with your deposits, identifying the following: 1. date account opened; 2. total amount deposited for the past year; 3. present balance

Best choice for LONDON (B) Statement(s) from your employer on business stationary showing: 1. Date and nature of employment; 2. salary paid; 3. whether position is temporary or permanent NO (also include copies of your last two pay stubs and your previous W-2 for the associated employer if available)

© If Self Employed: 1. Copy of last income tax return filed (or IRS transcripts); or 2. report of commercial rating concern

NO (D) List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s).

Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. See this FAQ for more tips and useful information on the Affidavit of Support Form.

NO 6. A copy of the NOA2 that you received in the mail. (backup information; the embassy will have copies of this as well)

NO 7. Proof of your ongoing relationship. This needs to be taken to the interview! Include photos, travel documents, emails, online chat logs (pick several over the prior few months), etc.. from between the time you filed and present (NOA1 until date-now).

Hahaha that's ace!! Thanks so much!

  10. Extras to what I already said would be the NOA2, and intent to marry.

But the documents they ask for are what you need.

Please do not follow the advice above, and just bring what is needed.

Don't take the entire original I-129F package.

England is not a high risk country and the London Embassy is one of the easiest.

Ahhh thanks!! ? Like you said, they would have noted it down in the checklist if they were needed! Cheers!

Noted!! Thankyou for all this! I have all of it, just need to organize and tidy up a bit! ?

  12. The interview is usually dates a month from the medical.

You had the medical today so you have to wait 3 days to get the results so that should be Tuesday/Wednesday.

Then they have to send them to the embassy so hopefully they will have them by next Friday and once that's matched with your file they will issue the interview.

So give it 2 weeks and you should get your letter for the interview.

Yeah, the doctor's said the Embassy would receive the results within few days, I guess I was lucky to hear from the Embassy so soon after the medical! I had filled my DS-160 before my medical, not sure wether that had anything to do with the quick response!

  13. Off topic I know, but I had my medical today. I've already filled in the DS160 and ready to interview form.

How long did you wait after the medical until having an interview scheduled - you didn't have a timeline I could check?

    Thanks

I had my medical on 25th of March, and I filled the applicant of readiness form the same day. I was told by the doctors it would take around 6 weeks for it to process, but to my surprise I received a letter from the embassy a few days later, on 1st of April to be exact with the interview date!! Hopefully you'll be as lucky as I was and receive some news quick!

  14. Hi guys! I have my k1 interview in London in 2weeks, I'm going through the checklist and I think I have everything, the only thing I'm wondering about is whether I also need to bring the information we provided with the I-129F, the evidence of relationship/photos/Skype calls etc. It doesn't state that I need to provide all these again, but I thought I'd double check! Thanks in advance!
