I was approved today and noticed that people with NOA of the first week of January are getting approvals so give it a month and you too should have great news. Download CASE TRACKER on your mobile device and it will help.

So yesterday I got the notice that my “date of birth was updated” and today this is showing in both apps and USCIS website ... 12 months and 21 days approval without interview or RFE... also I did NOT send a fat envelope with lots of content but the content I send was Quality over quantity. Will take a month relaxation from this and file N-400 end of February .

How long does it take to get your card in the mail after approval ?

This means you are approved. Congratulations!!! I had similar message when i was getting my first GC.
I don't believe it until I see the card in my hand... Otherwise this might just be another stupid glitch.

I am tempted to apply for N400 after I file my taxes next month.. I mean how bad is the interview when they call you both in?
-
I am thinking about filing for N-400 but am concerned since I only have 2 tax returns from the past two years... given there will be a new one in a couple months but can you file for N-400 online with two previous tax documents providing that you meet all other requirements?

I am confused as heck. What APP do you guys keep talking about? Ive been breathing through threads to see if anyone will mention this mysterious app lol Help a brotha out

I have a couple questions..
Why are some people obsessed with cover letters??? I have never used them and clearly remember seeing a Vise Consul at the US Embassy literally grab cover letters and throw them in the garbage and just keep the rest of the paperwork.
What app are people using to track up to 100 cases at a time to see how many approvals etc are happening around your number?

So, what’s everyone doing for a living? How hard was it for you as immigrants to find a job? I’ve been a stay at home wife/mom since I got here but I want to finally be able to support my family financially. But looking on all the websites that offer jobs I get very discouraged..
As soon as I got my work permit I started working for a shooting range in Arizona, I was already an NRA firearms instructor so it fell naturally. Then once my green card arrived I applied to the Arizona Department of Corrections, went through the process, got a conditional job offer, attended the academy, passed and I am looking at taking the Sergeants exam soon.
It is definitely not for everyone but it fits my personality perfectly.

My case was transferred on 5/8/2018. I received a notice that a new office has jurisdiction over my case and that is NBC office. My lawyer received the paper mail.
Did you apply for N400 or no?

My case was transferred like yours but still haven't receive the interview notice.
When was your case transferred? Did you get the notice that a new office has jurisdiction and did you get the paper mail?

did you apply for citizenship already?
NO I cannot apply for citizenship till later this year. I also did not have to get my fingerprints done. I did not get a notice so I made an inquiry and that is when they sent me a letter saying I do not need to get my fingerprints redone because the ones on file were valid.
That's why I am wondering if anyone has had these similar messages come their way and what did the second notice say,

Soooo on the 06/15/2018 I got this notice.
Your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, was transferred to another office for processing.
I got that piece of mail today and the paper says that "My petition was transferred to the California Service Center for faster processing". THE CRAZY THING IS THAT MY PAPERWORK WENT TO THE C.S.C. from the get go six months ago.
then on the 06/18/2018 I got the notice . CASE WAS TRANSFERRED AND A NEW OFFICE HAS JURISDICTION. I guess I will have to wait to see what the paper notice says on that.
Did this happen to anyone and what did your paper notices say? I am going nuts here trying to figure out whats up.

So I have been gone and need to update my timeline and everything else. This is my current situation.
01/02/2018 Applied to remove conditions on my green card.
02/22/2018 I received notice stating that I did NOT need to get biometrics and they would use the ones on file.
06/15/2018 Your form I-751, petition to remove conditions was transferred to another office for processing.
06/15/2018 We received your form I-751 to remove conditions and we are working on your case.
06/18/2018 Case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction.
Do note that I cannot file for N-400 yet so this is not the case. Another interesting fact is that I have always received my documents "AED, Green Card" in shorter processing times than the average. I am not sure what to think of the above notices as honestly I just applied to remove conditions this year.
Could it make a difference that I work for a State Law Enforcement Agency in Arizona, my address has not changed, still married....but did not provide 15 pounds of paperwork? lol

As a point of reference I got my NOA1 for my AOS on the 1st of September, my status was updated to "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" since the 13th of October, I then got my EAD approved on the 2nd of November.
From what I read it is perfectly normal for people to stay on "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" for around 3 months or so. Looking at the timelines I am guessing my interview will be sometime around February with yours probably in March.
Don't let the process drive you insane, as it did with me
Sadly I was miserable for weeks then I just started keeping my days busy and stopped checking USCIS case status lol best thing I ever did.

My Wife added me to her AMEX account and took the card to me in Belize while we were waiting for the I-130 to be approved.
Once I arrived in the USA I already had 7 months with the card and more importantly A CREDIT SCORE . This made it fairly easy for me to get my own credit card while we are keeping the others together to show the officers that we co-mingle finances.

Huh I am expecting my EAD to arrive tomorrow or tuesday. Does anyone has experience with drivers licenses, this specific immigration step and Arizona's DMV? I will then get conditional green card BTW.

Hi guys,
I received three notices yesterday via text and e-mail that USCIS had received my AOS package, AED and AP. On it it said that they received the files on the 3rd of September.
For the purpose of processing times, what is my NAO1 date? Is it the 3rd of September or is it yesterday when I received the texts?
Thank You

So I sent my AOS last week Friday to the Chicago office and USPS says it was DELIVERED INDIVIDUAL PICKED UP AT POST FACILITY.
I have not received NOA1 for adjustment of status yet. The check has not been cashed as money is still in the account and what is crazier is that it says that it was "Delivered individual picked up at post facility, 2 minutes after ARRIVING at the post facility. Furthermore it arrived at the facility late at night. IS THIS NORMAL?
Sorry I am going crazy here since it took so much effort to get all the package put together.
Thank You

I am not sure about that part. Perhaps someone with far more knowledge than me will chime in soon. This is a wonderful site that helped us with our case, just be patient and try your best not to get too stressed.

I certainly will tomorrow. Thank you
