    HELP! after reading this thread i think it is a good idea to remove our photos, but, i can't figure out how to do it :unsure: . somebody please tell us how to remove our photos, thx in advance. ;)

    Yeah, I had to e-mail the administrator to get my picture removed.

    I don't think the nationality of the spouses, the distance between the couples, the process of immigration, or the length of the courtship prior to the marriage impact divorce.

    Being from the same geography doesn't guarantee you any more success than those who aren't so blessed.

    I think it is the partners. Plain and simple.

    You either share the same moral values, goals, dreams, aspirations and respect for one another or you don't. Not to mention commitment.

    Marriage is tough. It requires work. It's not a proposition for the lazy or the bored.

    If a person is inclined to make a rash decision they are just as likely to make the same decision with a local relationship as they would with an international one.

    Aww, I'm sorry to hear about that. :(

    Well, my dad has been responsible for losing my family's passports (all four of our passports) TWICE!

    On the second occasion, when we were at the consulate in Spain to obtain our temporary passports, there was this one teacher/instructor who was leading a group of several students and lost ALL of their passports (all 132 or some other crazy 3 digit number)! :o

    can lawyers actually work miracles by jumping the queue to get your application approved asap?

    Nope. If your case is not complicated and you're not dealing with any of the aforementioned issues, just file for the K-1 yourself. You'll save yourself unnecessary costs and further complications that can come with hiring a lawyer. Other than that, I guess it's a matter of personal preference.

    Oh yes - we will move back to England as soon as I graduate. The only reason I can't go there right now is because my parents won't let me at this time, and because I have to finish my Bachelor's. But as soon as I graduate, we'll both be off!!
