  1. everyones been approved so far mines on the 28th im so nervous that im going to be denied and im a vwp overstayer so if i am thats the end gotta separate from my husband sucks

I Think you'll do alright. Be positive and walk in there with confidence. Bring a lot of proofs and then some more to document your relationship. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and so is everyone here i'm sure. Good luck and let us know the good new after your interview or right after you pop the champagne,,, :joy::joy::joy:

  2. So far, no luck for me. I first contacted one of the senator's office last week and haven't heard anything back since then. I called them back yesterday but been told that the person in charge of immigration matter is being replaced. Hoping for the best, I then called uscis to open an inquiry yesterday around 11:30 am. I just checked my online status and it shows this : As of June 15, 2015, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number T*****************MSC, is currently not assigned for processing.

I don't know if this is normal but let's the waiting continue.. It's day 82 today..

  3. NOA date is March 31st, biometric appointment was April 24th. Didn't have any RFE. My status has not changed since March 31th! I start wondering if they lost it. Going to call Monday as it will be Day 75 since NOA1

Anybody else in the same case, with about the same timeline?

Same here, NOA since March 27th. Biometrics April 20th and nothing since then. I already contacted one of my state senator. Hopefully, that will get someone to look into my case.

  4. me too. 3 to 4 times a day for the last 2 or 3 days.. its really annoying.

Did anyone else had a notification from USCIS app on iPhone saying that your case status has changed from "Fee received" to "case approved"?
Two mornings in a row I woke up with this notification, but then when I access the app, notice had changed.
I wonder if it's a malfunction of the app?
Two times I had hope but nothing! Very frustrating..

  5. Congratulations israelone.. Now go celebrate.

Interview went by fast not they only asked the usual where we met, how, etc. we showed some pictures of the wedding and ceremony. Also we had some bills that we had together. They did aak for my i94 but i told her i had lost it we didnt have a problem because of that. Then she said we were approved and my GC should ahip within 4-6 weeks. Good luck guys just dont get nervous and relax it will be just fine.

  6. It's ok, I got 3 emails about my EAD within 4 hours on the same day. I suppose it takes around a week for them to produce the card and around 2-3 days for delivery.

Sure, I understand exactly how you will. I'd say you should wait for a little while before contacting your congressman, because I've seen some people got responses that congressman/senator can't get information or push their case because it's still being proceed within the normal processing time according to USCIS. Sorry if it sounds kinda frustrating :( Anyway good luck to you and hope you will hear some good news pretty soon :)

yes you're right. That's a good point. Thanks for the kind words and Hope you hear about your interview soon.

  7. as an F1 student with no job, i firstly applied for capital one and got rejected. I also tried store credit at jc penney and same result. I then went to a bank of America ( i had both checking and saving with them at that time. I don't know if this contributed ) and explain my situation. They asked me how much money i make a year. I said none on my own but i do receive a monthly transfer from my parents to my checking. They then checked and approved me on the spot for an unsecured card with $ 700 limit. I always paid in full on time and 6 months later, i started receiving invitations from all the major credit card company out there.

  8. OMG!!!! OMG!!!

so now its 6.08am in Los Angeles. I woke up at 6am and checked on my phone.

I saw a notification from USCIS app, and I felt so happy cos I thought there was finally some progress and my EAD might be approved!

and then I realized it is not about i-765, but about update of my i-485!!!

I am now scheduled to have an interview on June 23 which is next month!!!

I feel so relived and happy cos its only been 2 months since I submitted my application.

Hopefully I will hear about my EAD later this month. OMG so excited that now I am still shaking!!!

Congrats kkjiang. What a fast journey. I was looking at your Local field's time processing ( https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=abctF-3KD7spv86R8o31u ) and it shows that they are now working on applications from september 2014 which is not accurate ( unless i'm mistaken ) since you got your interview scheduled already. I guess the time processing on uscis website are not accurate then.. kinda good news for the rest of us. Let's hope for the best and keep our fingers crossed.
