I want to do that but I am afraid it might push it back. That's why I am not sure if I should just wait it out or take the chance of supervisor review. I heard it might take anywhere from 1 week to 53 days.

my scan date was 8/4

You can go to an local IRS office to get your transcript otherwise you will be waiting a very long time to get them by mail.

Finally got an email that case is completed at NVC now waiting for interview, hope it goes a lot quicker over a year now waiting...

Anyone still at NVC, how long from documents delivery was your case completed and sent to the consular?

Has anyone had any luck in getting thru NVC web site to fill DS260 and pay invoice payment? It has been 2 weeks since I've received my case # and invoice # 2 weeks ago and can't gain access to NVC's forms. I've called couple days ago and was told basically to wait until they resolve the technical issues. This is unbelievable, what technical difficulty will take 2 weeks to resolve in this day and age. Even at 3rd world countries it won't take this long to fix a technical issue. I can't help to think that this is just another excuse to delay things for us. I don't get this at all......

Did you have any luck? I have not received anything from NVC for invoice and DS260, trying calling but I always get the they are busy and get hang up no matter what time I call...

you can file a K-4 visa for your stepdaughter at the embassy at the same time that you husband goes for the interview so that she can come with him and wait for her petition here. Look for the information on K-4 visas

I would recommend speaking to an attorney, but she can notify NVC that she will be adjusting in the US. She can do a 601-waiver for the time stay after her visa expired before she goes to her visa interview in mexico. She will need to proved extreme hardship with the 601 waiver. However if she enter the US legally she can adjust the status here, would need to notify NVC that she is adjusting here.

My PD was 9/11/14, had RFE, just sent the documents back and they have received the response and now waiting for NOA2 again... hopefully it wont be long going on 7 long months and half.

I am on my 6 months; and on 3/10 my case was suspended waiting for snail mail to deliver RFE, before I can move forward.

I am in a similar situation waiting for an RFE on my i-130 petition to see what they are asking for... I was also looking at forums to see what has been asked for in other situations

Yes you still need to send in all the information required for his identification. Call the center, do you know if the case has been assigned to a case center already?

I am waiting on the snail mail to get my RFE to see what they want... I been checking online and still see alot of the 9/11/14 PD still with no status update.

Now you will start with the NVC process, visa consular process... once you have the letter from NVC they will provide you with the case number which will give you more instructions for filing out the DS 260 and pay the fees.
