  1. Okay before you email you need to call. Emails take up 60 60 days to view because you are now in the big pile. Do this.

Call NVC (they are open until midnight Eastern time) its hard as heck to get through to them but keep trying if not tonight try first thing in morning they open 7am.

Okay when you call you request to speak to a Supervisor. They will ask why and you can state missing petition and you sent a mail to them and still no response and you need to speak to a Supervisor now please.

Have you verified with USCIS that they truly sent your petition to NVC? I would also call them tomorrow to ask "when did my petition physically leave the service center". Many have left and they have sent to wrong place the NRC (National Records Center). Or they didn't send at all and its just sitting there.

Call NVC report back with what they say.

In the OP I said that I had called on the 29th and the NVC said they had received it on the 16th and were processing it even giving me a time-frame. My Fiance has already called and asked to speak to a supervisor, he got hung up on. It left the USCIS on the 7th and they still have that in their records as my fiance also called the USCIS to see how they could help. Pretty much at the end of our ropes, NVC is showing no sign of caring.

I guess the only option left is to keep calling the NVC and hoping that we will get someone nicer and finally get through to a supervisor. We have been on with 3 different people each all telling us different solutions (or offering none, mostly with hang-ups). Thanks for the help though, We will definitely try again.

Update: Apparently out of the several emails we sent one was to NVCRESEARCH@state.gov, this is where one man told him they would investigate the case at quoting "We will definitely send out the blood hounds", though coming from the government after this; that is not very reassuring.

Just about at the end of our ropes .

  2. My fiance and I were getting quite excited that we were reaching the homestretch of getting a K1 visa so I could enter the country and marry him. Our I-29F petition was approved by USCIS December 18 and our case was sent to the NVC on January 7. I called the NVC on January 29 and was informed that our case had been received on January 16.

However, on March 3 I called and was told that there was no record of my case in the system. My fiance and I both called again to be sure, and eventually were given instructions to send an email to nvcelectronic@state.gov, detailing our issue and attaching a scan of our approved NOA2 (I-797, Notice of Action). We have been waiting for a response.

If you have dealt with this type of issue, how was it resolved? Is there anything else we can do or be prepared to do while waiting for a response from the NVC? We are hoping for the best, but we want to be prepared for any situation. Really appreciate any input.
