  1. Sir Lucid you can check the link below.

    https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/law-and-policy/bulletin/2016/visa-bulletin-for-august-2016.html

Read the contents under item F. OVERSUBSCRIPTION OF THE WORLDWIDE, EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, HONDURAS, MEXICO, AND PHILIPPINES EMPLOYMENT-BASED SECOND (E2) PREFERENCE CATEGORIES. It says "The date for these countries will once again become CURRENT for October, the first month of fiscal year 2017".

So yeah, just a small bump in our journey. :)

  2. I also called NVC regarding this matter. The operator said that they received my documents yesterday (May 26). Forgot to ask if will I be getting a scan date email. Will call them again today to verify if they have stopped sending those. Hoping they haven't, though.

I also remember reading somewhere here before that they don't send the scan date email right away. May take them a few days or a week. Not sure.

  3. Hi guys I got an email today from NVC and it says the following:

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has

been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and

attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment

until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

I don't know if this is case complete email or not. It doesn't say anything like that. My CEAC still shows 2 N/A's.
