That's weird. I think that's the July VB and they mistakenly used it instead of the Aug VB. These guys are prone to error based on my experience. Let's just wait for any changes. But seriously I hope the one with current EB2 is the real one

I got CC on June 23 but unfortunately no ID yet. The embassy peeps here (Thailand) are too slow in making interview appointments. We already sent an email to them and NVC requesting to expedite my interview but they haven't replied yet. Seems that I have for October but my fingers are crossed.

Read the contents under item F. OVERSUBSCRIPTION OF THE WORLDWIDE, EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, HONDURAS, MEXICO, AND PHILIPPINES EMPLOYMENT-BASED SECOND (E2) PREFERENCE CATEGORIES. It says "The date for these countries will once again become CURRENT for October, the first month of fiscal year 2017".

So yeah, just a small bump in our journey.

Cheer up guys. EB2 will be current again on October as mentioned in the visa bulletin.

Update: So I called NVC a few hours ago and the operator said they don't send scan date emails anymore.

But I just got that email. Scan date: May 23. Not May 26 as told by the operator I spoke with yesterday.

Seriously, they really mess things up sometimes. I learned that the hard way.

I also called NVC regarding this matter. The operator said that they received my documents yesterday (May 26). Forgot to ask if will I be getting a scan date email. Will call them again today to verify if they have stopped sending those. Hoping they haven't, though.

I also remember reading somewhere here before that they don't send the scan date email right away. May take them a few days or a week. Not sure.

I wonder if it will change to N/A if case completed. I'm just anxious I'm on day 32 of waiting and still no update.
