...I am just gonna wait for her send me a letter..I guess she needs proof that I paid the ticket or any court disposition(paid ticket)..damn the ticket is only $80 bucks. If I knew this would happen, I would just pay the freaking ticket! Thanks for all info...I am hoping to be at oath ceremony soon before June...ugh...

Do you know when I will receive the mail from her. In 3 months or shorter ?Thanks.

I and my husband both took off work since he wanted to be there for me at oath ceremony. I was waiting to check in for almost 2 hours. Finally, it was my turn. The woman asked me do I have tickets or else, I told her the truth I got a speeding tickets 3 weeks ago and my lawyer took care of it(since I didn't wanna my car insurance increases...) she then told me she can't let me be at ceremony due to the ticket..I was so shock! She took away my I-797 form and said she will mail me something and I have to mail her back stuff she required. She said if I just paid the ticket won't be a problem but my lawyer made a deal with the court so it will put me 3 months probation period. What is she talking about!? I will have to wait 3 extra month to go to oath ceremony or even worse cancel my approved N400? She took my paper so I don't know my I-797 number to check my status on USCIS website. Help me if you know any info or had similar ssituation.it was a terrible day..
