Hi. I Sent i-130 in may 2015 for my wife. The petiton was approved in middle of july 2015 and form I-797 says that the original petition was sent to NVC in Portsmouth, NH. Now we are middle of december and i don"t have any answer from anywhere. Pls tell me what i have to do. What is next step. Do i have to fill out any form? Thank you to everyone!

Hi to all. Filled out petition I-130 for my wife - category F2A. I have a green card. For the moment i recieved form I-797 once that says petition is received and 2 months later i have received a second I-797 with information that all documents are sent to NVC. So, pls tell me what is the next step? Already passed 4 months without receiving any letter from NVC. Do i have to start preparing some other form or i have still to wait. Pls tell me. Thanks all! So, i need:

- Form I-130

- Form G-325A one for me, and one form for my spouse, plus 1 profile photos for each form. one mine and one hers

- payment of 420 dollars

- copy of my green card (front and back)

- marriage certificate copied and translated

- both of our birth certificate copied translated

- copies of our international passports (all pages or just the first one with the photo)

Can somebody show me how the cover letter looks like? I don/t have any idea. Do i really need with all this documents to send photos from our relationship?

Why I need a cover letter with this first step of documents? I am confused! About born and marridge certificates - the needs translation in english, but do i need to send the originals one ot just copies? about photos just one photo for each Form G-325A?

Would like to ask you a question about "Continuous residence". I became Permanent Resident in May 2012. Here are my dates about my stays IN and OUT of US

2012 May - November (172 days in US)

2012/2013 November - May (178 days out of US)

2013 May - August (109 days in US) - took a re-entry permit and left US

2013/2014 August - April (251 days out of US)

2014 April - September (132 days in US)

2014/2015 September till now I am still out of US.

On 29th of March 2015 will be 180 day of my left from America. My re-entry permit exp. date is September 2015. I bought already a flight ticket for april which means i will late with 23 days after this rule of 6 months. Please tell me how i have to count "Continuous residence"? From may 2012 or after my going back to US in 2014 after 251 days out of US but with re-entry permit. And one more question, thinking to change my flight and keep this 180 days, not going over them this year. Can i use my re-entry permit again if i fly in april and make 6 months and 23 days missing from America? Thank you in advance to everyone who can give information about my case.
