I am sure you have a pretty good idea.
He didn't tell me why the visa is being denied. He only went in with some of my documents and came back after couple of mins to tell me that my visa can not be approved.

Why were you refused the first time?
I was denied under section 214 (b). The officer didn't give me any specific reason.

Hi,
2. Yes it can be a problem. One of these two passports was obtained using a document with a false birthdate. It may show that you are willing to use documents with false information. This may put your credibility on the line. If you are willing to obtain a passport with false information, then are you likely to obtain a student visa with documents containing false information.
3. Will not matter as long as you can show the money is yours.
4. The amount will be up to the CO at your interview. You must have enough to cover the I-20 requirements.
Dear aaron2020,
Thank you for your response. In regards to problem number 2, do you have any suggestion on how I can rectify this issue? The birthday data was wrongly inputed by the Nigerian Immigration office and my interview date at the time was less than 2 weeks, there was no enough time to send the passport back.
Your response will be appreciated.

Please I need answers.
I am currently studying Diploma in Information Technology in a foreign country but will be finishing in few weeks. I have recently applied for a Computer Science degree in an American University and have been sent an I-20 to apply for a visa. Here are my problems:-1. I have applied for a student visa at the US Embassy in Nigeria in 2006 (took fingerprint) but was denied.2. Also, the date of birth on the passport I used to apply at the time is different. On the old passport, the date of birth shows 05/10/1985 while my new passport shows 05/10/1987. Only the year is different. Can this be an issue at the US Embassy?3. If I want to apply, I can only use my own company account. I am not running my personal account. Can this be an issue? What should I do? Should I withdraw the whole amount and deposit it into my personal account?4. Moreover, how much do you think I must have in my account to satisfy my financial stability? When applying for the course, the school requested that I send them a statement covering nothing less than $35,000 USD. That fund covers the tuition and housing of 1 year. I’m guessing I have to study there for 2yrs and 6 months.I am in dilemma and need answers to these questions. Your response will be highly appreciated.Thank you.
