Had the same issue with OP in October 2018.
Just renewed my NJ license with I-797 authorizing 18-month green card extension.
The new license now says "LIMITED-TERM" in black instead of "TEMP IMMGR STATUS" in red.

Just now, AK_2014 said:
My wife did try that, and it didn't work for her.
Thank you for letting me know. Guess I have to settle with cutting the lines only then.
With my type of ROC taking 25-30 months, I certainly will relearn how to talk to CBP officers.

Has anybody tied manually type in the A# to the GE kiosks while having an expired GE with valid extension letter?
I think CBP must have the updated expiry date in their system tied with the A#. It might only be the GE kiosks rejecting expired GCs automatically.

An update on my case -
My AOS was finally approved on 5/22/17 (840 days after initial filing)
My category was backlogged and USCIS only resumed processing my case this January.
As a frequent traveller, I'm so glad that I can finally stop going into secondary for stamping, as is required when traveling with Advance Parole. I'm applying for Global Entry to hopefully skip the lines at all.
Best of luck to everyone for your Removal of Conditions/Citizenship applications!!!

Here is update. Several people on the list (but not all) have probably gotten Green Card, but have not told us.
My AOS is still pending. Expecting PD to become current in early 2017.
Congratulations to those who have gotten their GCs!!

Don't know if this is the same situation for others; or if others of you have gotten separate emails and letters for EAD and AP; and if any of you have a status change shown for AP on the Website.
My AP and EAD status were changed to approved on the same day (3/30). The physical AP approval letter came about five days later and the EAD approval letter came two days after that. Then EAD status changed to card mailed on 4/6 and the actual card arrived on 6/9. Thus it takes them about a week to produce and mail the card. They send the card via 2-day priority mail.

So can you clarify what visa you actually had when you applied for AOS and why you sent to CSC?
I had an F-1 visa when I applied for AOS.
My AOS was based on an approved I-526 (employment-based fifth preference) petition. Per I-485 instructions, AOS based on approved I-526 should be sent to the Dallas lockbox and routed to CSC for processing.
I believe that most follows here are filing family-based AOS, which are sent to Chicago lockbox and routed to NBC.
I hope this clarifies things a bit.

Does this mean you now have residency? That happened so quickly.
Nope, not yet. It's just employment authorization card and advanced parole. I can work legally and leave the country and come back without abandoning the I-485 application.

Just found out that my EAD and AP was approved!
USCIS website shows that card was ordered on 3/30/15.
Wish everyone else sees movements soon!

You talk about the EB-5, but your timeline mentions adjusting from F-1.
Are you doing both, or are you referring to two different individuals?
I'm doing both.
I'm adjusting from F-1 based on an approved EB-5 petition.

Hi everyone,
Sorry for posting in an ancient thread. Is there anyone who is going through EB-5 based AOS at this time? Just want to find a few fellas.

Just came back from Manhattan ASC. Had no problem walking in around 11:30am. Now the wait for EAD, AP and hopefully the GC begins........

Good morning folks!
Got my biometrics appointment in the mail yesterday for 3/26/15. The Manhattan ASC is indeed busy!
Will try walk in today and report back.

That is, except for astoldbyme who sent directly to California Service Center
Mine was sent to Dallas lockbox per I-485 instructions for employment-based cases.
The files were then transferred to CSC.

Hi there February buddies!
I filed I-485, I-765 and I-131 on Feb 3rd, 2015. The package was delivered to Dallas lockbox on Feb 4th, 2015.
Got NOAs on Feb 18 which was dated Feb 10. Adjusting from F-1 (grace period). Case pending with CSC (WAC number).
Now I'm anxiously waiting for biometrics......... It's been 25 days and counting.........

Renewing NYS DL and Real ID during ROC
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion

Wondering if anyone here has recent experience renewing/exchanging out-of-state DL in New York State with I-797 green card extension letter
Does you new NYS DL print a TEMP VISITOR EXP date? Is the new license a REAL ID?
