Could she just add my name to the lease? Although I can't actually move in at her current place since it's just a studio and won't fit my stuff.

I know this was asked many times over already but I just wanted to make sure I do everything correct (and really happy I found a community like this).

I'm getting married to my GF and originally we wanted to wait until her lease runs out to find a new place and move in together first, but because my visa expired we decided that it's probably saver to get marrie now out of fear of deportation, plus my driver license expired and I can't renew it and living in LA means I still have to drive to get around.

So we have to do the forms I-130 ($420) and I-485 ($1070). Are there samplers to these forms that show what we need to fill out and which documents are needed? Are there any other forms that need to be filed? I wonder what kind of proofs need to be submitted for our relationship besides pictures especially since we don't share any bills or a lease yet.

On https://www.us-immigration.com/i130/start.do?lang=en I did the free questionaire and when I choose the expired visa thing it pointed that out as a problem? Should this be just ignored?

Is an immigration lawyer really needed in my case? I try keeping the costs down, especially with the 485 fee.

If I theoretically get pulled over could I risk getting deported? All I have on me is and ID from my country of origin.

She says I worry too much but I just want to have a peace of mind and finally be able to oficially call America my home.
