Let me know if you need a recommendation on a translation agency in Moscow. They do everything very fast, online, let you check it via email first and then deliver to your address. I used them a few times and NVC/ embassy accepted all the documents.

What will be awesome! If you can provide me with their contact information and/or webpage I will appreciate it.  I think, I have to translate document again and if you have used them before and NVC/embassy eccepted then I will use them to. Thank you!

  2. I will try to make my question as short as possible. My fiancé used Translation Service in Russia to translate documents from Russian into English. I know that the translator must certify that the English language translation is complete and accurate, and that he or she competed to translate from the foreign language into English. My question is, the translator translated document with no mistakes (checked it myself), but instead of certifying she stated that the document were translated by her (she printed her name and signed it), but she wrote that part in Russian. Everywhere I see, the translator has to certify in English not in Russian. Now I am confused if I can mail the original document and the translation to USCIS. If anyone translated document in Russia before, please help me.

  3. Trouble in what way? Because you don't know how or you get an error message? If you don't know how, we'll be happy to help you. If you get an error post about it in the Site related discussion forum that you can find here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/14-site-related-discussion-updates-ideas-etc/

Finally I was able to create my time-line. I am sorry that it took so long, but with all the stress I had and still have, I didn't had time to figure out how to update my time-line. But FINALLY IT IS HERE!!!

  4. Does anyone knows how long does NVC take to process documents and send to the embassy? It's been more then month then received our doc from TSC. I keep calling them, but they say that they still working on it and there is no timeframe when it will be sent to the embassy. The case number was assigned 4 weeks ago.

Congrats for all approvals!!!! I'm getting to excited when I read good news and praying for our approval to be soon!!!!

  5. NVC send the case to US embassy where beneficiary lives. Then it really depends on embassy. You should send everything so that it reaches to beneficiary just before interview so all dates are fresh . But again depending on country, you may get a quick interview date and may have to plan accordingly. Please fill in your time line so we also get an idea. Thanks.

Thank you so much! I will fill in my time line. I just need to figure out how to do it. I am new in this website  Just learning it.

Call NVC and get your case# that is your next step. From there they will send your case to your Embassy.

Will I recieve any letter from NVC once they send my case to Embassy? Thank you in advance.

  6. I have question if anyone can help please. Based on the income requirements, my income is not enough to support my fiancé, and I know we can get a cosponsor. BUT MY QUESTION IS: It is possible to count money (in bank) and other things (car, house) that my fiancé owns (since he is going to bring all his money with him) ??? Or does the support have to come just from me (us citizen) . I don't know what to do. I am hopping we can combine my income and his money. PLEASE HELP!!!

  7. Hi everyone! I am so glad to be here. Finally, WE GOT APPROVED!!!!!

  8. My then fiance and I met online in 2009. I filed for the I-129F in September of 2011. My I-129F was approved in Feb of 2012. It wasn't until April of 2013 that I was able to fly to Tunisia to finally meet him in person.. At this point my then fiance had gone to his interview and was awaiting AP for 10 months. His visa was finally issued on Sept of 2013 and arrived in the USA Dec of 2013. We married the end of Dec 2013, he is now a Green Card holder.

So, yes it is POSSIBLE to get approved without meeting in person. More than welcome to check out my timeline. We were approved against ALL odds! Very stressful long journey, indeed.

Good luck to the both of you , ;)

Did you include any affidavit ( statement knowing your relationship) from a friend or someone else when you filed?

  9. But they want the proofs to be before I filed I-129f. If I go now and get everything its not going to be in the same period of time that they want it. That's why I dont know. If I go and get all proofs and send them in, don't they denie it anyway because the date of the proofs will not be in the same period of time they asked for???

I know it sounds crazy, but I don't know what can I do.

Also - do you read your emails on your phone? - you may have deleted it off your account, but scroll down through the messages on your phone, and you may find it's still on there - ditto your friend who bought it too.

If you find it on your phone, then just forward it to your email account again :)

Yes I did check everything and contacted with the agency but unfortunately nothing.

  10. If you have sent the pasdport stamp and they are asking for proffs that mean that it wasnt enough.

So you need take a plane ticket and go to visit your fiance again and take pictures this times.

Or if you fiance can come to usa then that he goes to visit you.

Maybe the passport stamp isnt recent that they are asking for proofs.

If you dont send good proofs you will be denied.

Did you mean that I have to refile all documents again after I visit him? Because they want they want all proofs to be within the last 2 years ( othing after I received RFE). So my understanding is that, I have to visit him again and get all documents and pay same amount to file (start everything over from the beginning). Am I correct? If that's the case, that's not a problem. I can do it. But I'm afraid to get denied againg (because of filing second time)

  11. HELP!!!!! received RFE for proof of met in last 2 years, but unfortunately I don't have any proof ( no airline tickets, no pictures of both of us, me and my fiancé) When I visited him we didn't know that we will need them, so I did save anything to show that I actually traveled to that country. Only thing I have is the stamp on my passport. Also we didn't take any pictures together because I wasn't sure about getting back with him again. I lived with my fiancé before and we have a child but we got separated and now we want to get back together. When I file I-129f I stated that we have a child together and that we lived together before I sent copy of my passport stamp, couple of pictures (when we lived together) and phone bills.

My question is: since we have a child together, is there any waiver for proof of meeting in person in last 2 years?
