  1. Here is my GREEN DAY today!!! After 1 year 3 weeks card is on production!!

I'm a May filler with NPIW in August.

On March 21 I contacted Ombudsman's office and still no any response from them!

At the end of April I asked help for Senator and on May 8th my case was assigned to an officer at New York USCIS office. Don't know if it's coincidence or senator's power..

But on May 13th I got a request for new medical.

May 21 new medical was delivered to the NY office.

JUNE 1 card is in production!!!!!!

  2. It will be great if my insurance will cover the lab tests ! So the doctor sent you to the labs for the 3 tests ? What were the tests for ? TB , and STD and Hepatitis ? and what vaccinations did you have ? Did the doctor tell you which ones you need ? I really need to know in details so that i can be ready to shop for a cheap surgeon that i can afford next week ..I have Blue shield carefirst insurance and i hope it will cover the surgeon and the tests as well as the vaccines !

Thank you so much for coming back to me with such helpful answers , I appreciate it :) and I hope you will hear good green news soon :)

The blood tests were for TB, syphilis and varicella (I had chicken pox, so I believe he just wanted to get more from insurance.. I had blue cross b shield coast to coast health mate.. My vaccinations are up to date, so I didn't do any.
  3. You had to go to 3 different labs ? so you have paid $200 to the Civil Surgeon and then you paid to the labs ? so the total between the CS and the labs was $644?

They took blood only once for all 3 labs in 3 test tubes. I paid $200 only to the surgeon, so he filled out all form, transfered the results of labs and my vaccination, also took my blood pressure!lol When I did my labs, I showed my insurance and they said it would be covered. Today I checked my insurance and saw that they billed my insurance company for $644 ( for these 3 tests)! I didn't have to pay anything! It's so expensive because I had TB gold quantiferon test ($434) to avoid false positive result as I was vaccinated with BCG.
  4. You mean you paid the $200 for the whole thing? I mean was there any tests that you did or they just confirmed that you have all the vaccines needed ?

Yes, they just took my blood to check for TB, syphillis and varicella. By the way just checked my insurance the TB gold test cost $434, my total for three labs was $644! Thanks god, my insurance covered it!

  5. Hi there , I just wanted to know whats next ? did you check with any civil surgeons ? I cannot find a copy of my DS-3025 that i have already sent to the USCIS , I really do not recall what vaccines i had and what are the ones i do need ? Do you have an idea how much all this medical exam will cost ? Do you think that they are ready to make a decision about our application after we submit the I-693 ? Sorry i am asking lots of questions i just need to know what is gonna happen after whole year of waiting ! Wish you and all the folks here good luck :)

I had to did new medical too! I paid CS $200 only to fill out the form and transfer my vaccinations. Lab works (blood test for TB, syphilis, varicella) were covered by medical insurance.
  6. Just received this wonderful letter from USCIS.....Dear applicant, you submitted an !-693 in support of you`re I-485 AOS application. As of June 1,2014 USCIS has limited validity period for I-693 to one year from date of submission. Based on these regulations you`re I-693 has expired. Send an updated I-693 within 30 days from date of this notice. Attention:AOS/USCIS 26 federal plaza, room 8-800 New York,NY10278. Now the damn thing is dated April 22,but with a stamp on it dated May18, "received USCIS mailroom, New York. Also, we never submitted a I-693, only the DS-3025. Does this mean our case was transferred to N.Y.??? IS all we do is get the DS-3025 transcribed to the I-693??? What would we have done if we didn't have a copy here of the DS-3025???Can someone please advise us how we find a required doctor in the chicagoland area? thank you......words cannot describe how we are feeling right now.

I've got the same letter from this address on May 13, dated April 29! I believe the room is the same! Was if from officer Henriquez??
  7. With all these unusual things going on ,I am losing patience again . I tracked my package it was received by USCIS 3 days ago . I haven't see any change yet ,I am very worried about my TB positive result and that wired" court record request" from them ,I want to know what they think about my response to the RFE as soon as possible .Today I tried to open a service request online ,it don't allow me to do that anymore ,dont know why .I called uscis ,they told me give them 60 days to expect a update on my case .How can they do things so slowly ? When they come to ask for more evidence ,we are only given 30 days to complete. After so much trouble and stress ,I will never try to immigrate to another country again

Hi Vivian! You told you had Tb gold something.. Was it done through blood from vein or it was a vaccine in your arm?? I had my medicine done today, and I had td gold too.. But it was through blood test from vein and the results will be on Tuesday only.

  8. Ok. today I've got a request dated April 29 for new medical!! I need to submit one before May 29, but it doesn't say where I should mail it, and another thing it says I need to submit COMPLETE updated I 693, does it mean I need to do all full medical exam?! But when you look at the instruction for I 693, it says we don't need full exam, just vaccination records.. Confusing. Any thoughts, experience? Thanks

  9. Well sitting here in a hotel room in Atlanta ready for the AOS interview tomorrow ( was told by tier 1 and 2 I need to attend ) please all keep myself and the wife in your thoughts, it's only took just short of 14 months lol. Silly question this bot and I mean BUT has anybody heard of anybody been refused a GC for AOS ???

Yep, I just read one story a couple days ago. A couple had an interview, everything was smooth and fine. And after some time ago they got a decision your GC was declined.. Don't know why cause they just got this status online, didn't get a letter yet..
  10. The need for this new thread is Funny and Sad! I guess if you don't laugh you cry. We just mailed off our EAD/AP renewal application.

One of the most frustrating things right now is that my husband is in graduate school and we thought he could finally be approved for in-state tuition fees (after one year of state residency which he has) but now they are telling him that because he is in "petition" stage with USICIS he can't even be eligible for in-state fees, forgetting about financial aid which we know requires a GC. Very aggravating for him to have gone through so many hoops and now be stuck like this and continually made to feel not valid yet!

The same situation! I've already lost two semesters, and the third is coming... and still no GC. They don't allow me to register for classes without GC or approval of GC.. Fingers crossed, I don't lose fall semester! Did your husband go to college as an international student now?
  11. Hi guys!

I was reading this topic during last couple weeks, so decided to join you and share my situation! I applied for AOS in May 2014. In August I got NPIW.. I did an infopass in November, had two service request (December, January), multiple times of calling T1, twice T2 and nothing.. Tomorrow I'll have another infopass, don't think it will change something but my husband insists!

  12. After the 2nd service request they gave me a confirmation sort of # T1BxxxxxxxxxMSC but on my first service request the number was T1BxxxxxxxxxMAN which i believe the last letters stands for MANCHESTER which is my local field office. Whats goin on? Whats msc?

I had a similar situation! On my 1st SR referral number was T1xxxxxxxPRO. I've never gotten any answer on this request. In a month I did my 2nd SR referral number -T1xxxxxxMSC, in a couple of days I've got an answer "due to workload.. USCIS anticipates a delay...". So I figured out in my 1st SR PRO means Providence my local field office. Apparently T1 thinks my case is in my local office (they usually tell that), that's why T1 assigned it to PRO office and I didn't get an answer cause they don't have my case! In my 2nd SR T1 was more experienced and addressed it to MSC, where my case is rotting..
