Our case was approved on June 26th and sent to the nvc on July 9th. Still haven't heard anything from the embassy - is it normal that it takes them so long to send packet 3? I'm thinking about writing them an email, I just don't want to be too pushy.
We haven't got our case number either since my fiance is not really patient :-D but I guess we only need that number to track our case, the embassy will send me the case number anyway, right?

Hi there! We got our NOA1 on Dec 24th and I'm also hoping for a June approval. My fiance is from California and I'm from Austria. I'm visiting him in May for three weeks, hopefully there won't be any troubles at the POE. I'm flying to Charlotte and the people there were always really unfriendly and rude and asked me a lot of questions (I'm not sure but I think it was always the same guy), so I'm a little bit more worried this time :-(

Yesterday I had the notice in the mail that my application has been approved!! :-)
The letter also says that my card will expire in 10 years. Shouldn't it be 2 years? Did they make a mistake? I thought you get the conditional GC when you'd been married for less than 2 years when you file the application and we'd been married for about 2 months back then :-D
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering why :-D We'll see what it says on the card.
Did anybody else get their GC for 10 years?
