Hi,
Please look at our timeline, it took a few months but it was around Christmas and New Years. Hope that helps. Keep records too because we couriered back Pkt three and they claimed they did not receive it so we resubmitted it. Good Luck to you!

Hi All,
I am hoping my story will encourage each of you through this anxiety provoking time for all of us...
Although I have not posted at length on VJ, I have been in touch with some of you and praying for the rest going thru this adventure.
With all the stories I have read and heard from some going thru Mumbai, I feared our interview. We all know what a difficult time some people get from the different personalities at the Embassies. My case had what many would consider all the red flags. Huge age difference, I am divorced, children, etc. It was hard keeping faith sometimes that we would be treated fairly.
Despite the quick processing of all the paperwork, at our initial interview in March, my fiance was asked to come for a second interview May 4th and given a 221g. It was a grueling 6 week wait. Long and short of it, he was interviewed fairly and respectfully Thursday in Mumbai and I want you all to know that to maybe calm your fears. We do have strong case, have known eachother since 2001 and were acquantainces only and did not really keep in touch much until 2003. Life is funny how things happen. Anyway, please keep good records of all your communications with eachother. My trip to India, staying with his family and their acceptance of me I am sure helped us. I dont want to ramble but I do want to give you all inspiration as those of you on here have given to me when I have contacted them. If we can help contact us. Will post details of interview soon. Always say I can, I will and I believe. Really, it helps.
May you all be successful in your journey and may you be reunited soon.

bummer, just do what they want, give them what they need and hopefully they will be as quick to process it as they were to send the RFE out. Could be worse. Keep the faith.
and you will be

Keeping you and your brother and family in my prayers. Recently my 15 yr old came ill with a condition that is chronic and will impact her for life. Try to be strong, keep faith and take it slowly. God bless you.

Good luck with the interview, NO the petitioner is not allowed to be inside, you will have to wait outside.
My fiance has second interview May 4th, his first was March 13th. We were not missing any information required, but I think because of the age difference and I am American they will interview him again with a higher CO.
Best of luck with your interview.

YEAH!!!
Please do give some details......how were you treated? My fiance was there for K1 interview on March 13 and after brief interview which was pleasant he was told to come again for another interview on May 4th and given a 221(G). No documentation was requested or missing just told to come back. Imagine the frustration!!
All the Best to you!!!!!
