hey all, i have a few questions if i may,

my fiancee and i are in the process of a K1 visa application, we are at the point where we are getting together teh docs needed to ask for an interview, i will be booking my medical tomorow, and have no issues there.

once thing that concerns me, i served 12 years in the british army, they state that they requer my documents, what i have here is a testimonial, and discharge papers from my unit, and i was wondering if that covers what is needed at the interview?

also, will my service out of country count as needing a police record from that location(cypress)

any help would be welcomed, this all just seems to get more and more complicated, though i hope we are near the end of it all now

ok i had this problem as well, after a bit of tinkering i found that right at the start when you open the form AA will open a little popup box that asks if you want to auto fill in the other forms as you go along.

cant tell you how silly i felt after posting much the same on here as you have:)

but anyway look out for that or it should be an option somewhere in the settings of AA.

and as someone else said the 4 forms are not identical so i wouldent recomend photocopying the first one only.

ok i too would like to hear an answer on this, though i am the one coming into the us and my fiancee is the usc, she is on disdability and having our baby.

the co sponser has the means and more to qualify and we will be staying with them untill we can get settled on our own and i can work.

i wouldent think it would make a diffrence as that seems to be the whole reason of having a co sponser, but some clarification would be nice.

ok i sorted it, there is a small box pops up for auto fill when i started, of coarse i just closed it without reading the first time........DUH

so needles to say i feel strupid and the form is now done.

this brings me to aboyther point,

in jan 06 i finished 12 years service in the british army, now thge only problem i have is the address for the employer, i have just put MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, any idea if this will be enough or do i need to do some more reaserch into this

i thought that was maybe supposed to happen, but if so i must be missing something:P

ok tried to find alternate forms, the same thing happens, after the first sheet the form just isnt fillible,

so ill just write it out in my best. thanks for trying to help.

hey, tring to fill out theG-325A form to send to my fiancee in the states,

but after i fill out the first form it wont let me fill out any more.

am i doing some thing wrong or is it best to just print and fill out manuly, id rather not do that as my hand writing isnt the greatest

ok im confused now,

i may be wrong but when i looked into this a few weeks ago everything i read on the matter said that the person filing for my imigration, I.E. my fioncee, doesnt need to be the sponser, and that anyone else can do it as long as they meet the required limits.

now im even more confused:(

well thats the thing, he wont be co sponser, he will be the only sponser, but that i think is by they by, with a baby on the way and no garente of a timeline when i will be able to work, she cant affored to loose all that as soon as we get married.

just one more worry, and all before we even file:(

yep im fully aware that i dont qualify,

she wont be sponsering me, a freind of ours is, so theat part is sorted as far is i am aware from reading up on this, just it says nothing about what she gets from the fact that she recieves disability and other help from the govermant.

hey all,

i have a question that some may be able to help with

im sotishand looking to move to the states to be with my fioncee, she is pregnant and is on state aid.

now she is worried that when i get there and we marry she will no longer qualify for that aid, so then no med bills and everything will be helped with, also the money she gets every month.

allso the foodstamps, now when i find work it wont be a problem, but untill then can anyone give me an idea how that will work.

i do have a sponser but dont want him to end up responsable for us and the 2 kids we will have.

yep hes a usc, he is a very close freind of us both and she stays with him and his family

as to supporting myself i was under the impresion that i could work as soon as i arrive on the k1, although ido realise i need to apply for othere things and its only for the initail 90 days.

on top of that i have some funds availible to contribute to the household ill be staying in.

i am a scotsman begining this bewildering prosses to be with my loved one.

one question id like to ask is,

can the sponser be a diffrent person from whom i want to marry, my best friend is willing to sponser me as my fiancee is pregnat and doesnt work.

the rest looks relitivly easy if time consuming so any help with this will be welcomed by me
