my fiancee is 10 years older than me, we are not worried about it
3 years is nothing
-
no they start with around 40 horses
it is a huge deal, even for people who dont usually bet or follow horses
most uk online bookmakers will show it over the net, but only if u bet a certain amount
try www.ladbrokes.com or www.willhill.com
-
im sure it all depends what time u call as to how busy they are
to save money, call from work
-
i cant say for certain but im sure they have a point of entry (poe) officer on all border entries
-
ive just turned 25, i had all my vaccinations as a child, hope they havent quite destroyed them just yet
i happen to work in medical records though, and what they do is scan them onto a computer so if you do happen to need them they can print them off for you, well they do at least in my local health authority
-
me and my fiancee have a box each, which we place items in. luckily we are both very sentimental so before we decided to get married we already had kept most of the stuff that could be considered evidence
when u are that far away from each other for long periods of time u tend to hold on to small silly things like elnvelopes and letters just because they came from your loved one
-
i alaways stress it about my bags and where they are checked to also
when u first hand your luggage in you will be given a ticket with a barcode on it, it should say on there where you will pick up your baggage, more than likely your final destination

dont have a timeline as such to fill in
and about a co sponsor, your still not making any sense to me. he isnt going around asking people to be a co sponsor on the grounds he has a secure job, as if he did he wouldnt need one in the first place thus defeating the object of looking for 1 in the first place, he mentioned his parents ehlping him out
-
your reply dont really make sense lol
his job stability has no bearing on his ability to find a co sponsor
they are looking for your ability to support your fiance in the future, so it may not matter that you only worked for a year just that you can prove that you are highly likely to remain on that same income
-
yeh thats great
thank you very much
its likely my stuff would be shipped from bristol also
-
i think your theory is probably very accurate
ive done similar sort of work with a team of workers and thats generally what happens
-
obviously there are lots of you on site who have moved to the US. how best/cheapest to transport all your stuff??
price? good companies? air or sea? door to door? good/bad experiences?
share them

okay i know im a pain but im having some major difficulties with sponsorship
the guidelines say that your consulate may require either depending on which one it is. one is 100% poverty and one is 125% poverty and that 25% difference makes a huge difference to us
so first of all which would be asked for in london?? or is it not dependant on location?
related questions....its been said before that london and only london sometimes allows self sposnorship..ive emailed them with no reply, how true is this? is it just partial?like if my sponsor was on the boundaries they take into account my savings? or could i totally sponosr myself if i saved up $20,000. what about if my fiancee (the sponsor) lost some income after she sent me the forms?
-
i think it was u who posted that b4 for me with an email, i emailed them but no response yet
it certainly makes sense though, given the reasons you need a sponsor
-
im new to all this myself, but im sure age would play a factor
-
whats all this i hear about self sposnoring at london??
-
yeh i have money now, but for the k1 it matters not how much i have but my sponsor.
my sponsor has a job etc and easily meets the requirements now but wont come the time that it matters, just looking for ways around that issue
-
thnx again for the info
i would be trying to get around the immigration progress but only because we wont have the money or another sponsor. just because we dont, doesnt mean we want to be together any less so im looking for ways around it so we can be
-
sry i-864 all these numbers and abbreviations get me confused
im not currently a student at all, its an avenue i was exploring to be near my fiancee since we dont have enough money for a k1 and i cant keep using the waiver program
-
yeh the problem being that my sponsor has enough now, wont have when we would have to have it, and would have it again by the time i finished being a student
to be a student in the us. im already in the uk
-
you can get work on a student visa, also it would be me who needs money and not a us sponsor
i can exceed the us poverty guidelines, my us fiance cannot and needs to as when applying for a k1
-
yeh unfortunately we know
thnx for the help, although im not exactly wealthy myself
and a long way, not right now but by the time the time comes we will be
-
im from wales, united kingdom
she is from the us
-
me and my fiancee have been looking into the k1 now for some time, but have just realised that by the time we would submit the i-134 we wont meet the 125% poverty guidleine requirement. we have no one else who could sponsor, and must be together, so now as an alternative im looking in to becoming a student, then eventually applying for a k3.
anyone had similar experiences or know any other ways around this? or how to get into universities or know any other helpful sites??
any help greatly appreciated
Support Questions
in US Embassy and Consulate Discussion
Posted · Edited by Mark Collard
Going through a few problems at the moment namely about affadvait of support, was hoping some people here could give me some answers about the following
For the first part when i go to the embassy in London, am i correct in thinking that my fiancee just needs to demonstrate 100% of the poverty level, and if she cant make it, i am also under the understanding that the embassy in london will also allow me to at least part support myself, are both of these statements correct??
secondly, once we are married and applying for aos, i understand that we would need to earn 125% of the poverty level for the household size. im also aware that once married i can work, do both our earnings count towards the income for the household, or is it just my to be wifes??
thnx for any help in advance
