  1. i know this is about my AP but i have had such a bad run with it so far .. ok this is how it goes .. my AP got approved feb 28th .. i got nothing .. i rang up they said they would reissue it and nothing again .... i have tickets to go back home 17th of may .... for my parents wedding .. i have a letter from my dad orginal copy and it states that he has been ill and is remarrying my mother ... anywayyyyyyyyyyyyy ive waited for two AP's that have never come and now they are telling me and MY lawyer that i have to resubmit and RE PAY the fee for the AP ... i have proof that it has been approved so now im making an infopass for tommorow morning at 8.45am hoping they will maybe give me an emergency AP . I dont like my chances but ive been SOOOO patient with everything and now im just really upset that i might have to repay .. ive spoken to like 10 different officers on the phone and they all say different things ..... now they say i have to repay and resubmit ...

    im taking the following -

    - my NOA

    - my reciept

    - letter from my dad

    - the tickets

    - the paper from the info pass appointment

    anything else ... ??

    any ideas ?

  5. ok there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel and when i checked the processing times for MSC this morning they had changed and they are currently processing AP's with the receipt notice date of JAN 25th... my notice date is FEB 01, 2006 does this mean i am next for getting processed and how long will it take after that . The reason i have to go back home is that i gave some evidence to the police in a family dispute and im needed as a witness so i suppose i COULD provide documentation that i am needed back home . although if my AP is likely to be processed soon then my parents said that can hold off on court until i come back . it seems that my parents dont understand how frustrating this process is for me . I thankyou all who replied for being so supportive and who UNDERSTAND my situation . Come to think of it looking at all my noticed dates they are dated FEB 01, and ive also been for my biometrics.

thanks all and best of luck with your journey

  6. ok i have a question what happens if you abandon your case of AOS .... not only do i lose the money but is it possible to restart the adjustment again or apply for another visa once im back in Australia . I applied for AOS here but due to unforseeable circumstances with my parents they have had a messy divorce and need me back home asap . I dont want to abandon the case and I cant apply for an emergency AP .. i know this sound stupid but i feel its my only option .... help please

  7. well i went for my biometrics today at i got there at 12 .. appointment at 1 and there was a huge line around the block ... after everyone lining up like sheep i got in a 1pm which was my appointment the people were so rude there and i got sent to the backof the line once because i forgot to add my 2nd reciept number in which THEY forgot to tell me i was soooo frustrated then i recieved my ticket number 736 and the number thing said 598 when i got there the waiting began....... after 2 hours i was called up with about 20 people and my finger prints were taken

now can someone explain something to me why did i put my EAD reciept number down and my biometrics? i thought they were seperate ? what happens after this ... no one would help me they were too busy obviously

so what happens after my biometrics ? Im so confused ? Do i have to go back in for my employment card and also is there any way of finding out the status of my advanced parole ?
