i am going to attend my oath ceremony on july 6th.

received Oath letter which is scheduled for July 6th, but during my field work schedule on different state, i wont be able to make it. please tell me how serious it could be to reschedule the oath ceremony?

can i request the date or range of dates if there is anything available?

Went for interview today.

went earlier 45 minutes, and interviewer called me for interview half an hour past the scheduled time. long wait.

then we discussed about my name change, i actually selected to change my name which is slightly is in different order than it actually should be, it has been since i applied for K-1 visa i kept it same way for the USCIS pupose. she said we can not call it a name change since it is same name with different order, but she said i will get my naturalization certificate with correct order and hence the passport will be in that correct order. then i can try with those 2 proof to go and change SSN and DMV. so finger crossed. she crossed the name change section on my application.

After that went over the application, address resides, marital unity proofs. only thing extra i took with me 2015 tax transcript and bank statements since february to may.

she had all my applications in her file she had notes whatever questions she could ask from all the application. she was happy as my file was so organized. she thanked me for being prepared. congratulated me that i passed the test and gave me a letter saying

"congratulation we recommended your Naturalization application to be approved. you will get a letter in few weeks for where to go for oath ceremony"

Hello, In addition to your interview appointment letter, did they also send you form N-659 (Naturalization Interview Document Checklist).

What did they ask you to bring to the interview?

Please state if you are applying based on three years (marriage) or 5 years.

yes there is a checklist along with the letter.

i am applying based on three years marriage.

i will just take the copy of my package with me. nothing has changed after the application submission.

on interview letter same stuff : GC, Marriage certificate , passport, spouse's naturalization or birth certificate.

on the check list separately actually it is a mention of all the documents again i sent with the application. proofs of ongoing relationship and proof of trips outside, tax returns etc.

interview letter received today dated 4/22. interview date is 6/1

online status changed: interview scheduled. waiting for letter

received email, status changed to "testing and interview" April,4th

bio letter received today .. appointment on 3/31/16...i didnt receive NOA letter.. so i guess it will be same as my noa received email. march 4th 2016

no NOA yet.. they seem to have a real delay on my case.

Finally got text and email from USCIS. Remember i sent my package to Dallas, TX on February 22nd. my case was received and accepted March 4th and they sent a notice on Action which i will receive in following days.. check is not cashed yet. maybe on monday..

so guys what is the difference between these 2 addresses. is express mail one supposed to get processed fast? as far as NOA, check cashed etc concerned? and as i understood if you send Form G-1145 it only works on 3 addresses where you send with EXPRESS mail. not with the regular mail P.O BOX addresses. so i sent my package with G-1145 BUT on the B.O box number address Dallas. and it was delivered last thursday morning 7am.. but yet to receive any notice or not even check cashed.

now i seriously think something wrong with my application ,, (no mail, text, check cashed, noa). nothing. i hope they let me know as early as possible so i can send it back.

plus i dont think there is the way to check it. because all i had is usps info and it was delivered last thursday.

still no e notification or text or even check cashed.. i my package was delivered on last thursday lol never been that impatient. i hope i didnt miss anything and it is not coming back on my way...

Guys I sent my package on 22nd with the text and email confirmation form. With my personal check..package was delivered on 25th. But no text or email yet neither my check is cashed. No letter. Is there anything wrong?

I did the same once my case was beyond time limit, I called them they sent me this security hold letter. After 2 days I got another letter that I am approved. So from the day I called them for inquiry it took total 12days to get approved. But I didn't had any RFE.

We are same of age and no tax problems. So it might take few time but they are going to approve. Stay tight.

Yes you can apply for citizenship even of your Roc is still pending.

Finally, got email today on october 30th status changed to card/document production.. see you guys in fabruary 16. Thanks and good luck if there is anyone left to be approved.

Yes VNL, i didnt hear anything yet either, as soon as processing time for CSC changed to February 16th (in Processing time information), as it is beyond my NOA1 date which was February 6th, i called USCIS and they checked my case and said there was NO RFE or Interview scheduled and they assigned my inquiry to an officer and i should hear something in next 2 weeks. so i hope something good will come out from this. good luck to everyone who is still waiting.

Just checking in guys: all Vermont guys.. look like next couple of weeks and wait will be over.. almost 50%of january filers got approved who were transferred at same date as ours..

ok as my case was transferred on 8/19 (already updated) i called on USCIS number to hear the case status recording, it says my case was transferred to St Albans,Vermont not to CSC. i think everyone's case is not going to CSC and it is same office where we filed or something else? thats the same address where we sent our package..then what is the transfer deal..

Early Bio metrics Done Today 3/13/15. in pittsburgh,PA

got my notice yesterday, i am going out of town so i went to the newly open pittsburgh offfice at penn center blvd.

went in afternooon 3:00pm. it was quiet and just 1 person was ahead of me getting her FP done. just checked -in filled the form and in 1 minute called in for finger print and i was out in 7-10 minutes. thanks guys and good luck
