  1. Hi Aaron,

Makes sense. I thought it was sort of a one package, "a group" where father/mother and child were processed at the same time. There was a case in my family where the husband (in USA) asked for my relative and her children, and they had their interviews on the same date.

I'm hoping it is still possible -there is still time- that my husband's case will catch up with my child's case. In case that happens, how can I arrange it for them to have interviews on the same day?

  2. Thanks for replying!

Yes, everything was sent for both of them at the NVC. Only the CR2 case is completed at this point. Only the CR2 case has an appointment. They asked to send a copy of our marriage certificate, and they received it on Jan 06, 2015.

Then, they sent me an e-mail that says:
"The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on 06JAN15.

We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documents received.
We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete the review of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents.
We are working to reduce these processing times and we appreciate your patience."
I called the NVC, and asked the same question about if it was possible my husband and stepchild (5 years old) would get different interview dates. She could not answer to that.
