My wife just got visa stamped on passport. Category is FX1....

One of my friends in same status got for his wife F21....

We are from same country : Turkey....

Did they stamp to me wrong??

I confirmed my Case complete via phone. I didn't get any notice e-mail about that. However they told me my case complete in November and notice e-mails are automatically created e-mails sometimes don't being send.

Anyways, I would recommend you call them once a week just to check..

Hello,

My case completed in November and still waiting interview date. I talked to my countries consulate and they said NVC would know how many people from my country waiting in front of me.

However everytime I call NVC, the person I talk only tells me wait.

Do you think supervisors know more about that or whom should I ask to?

When I called NVC 2 months ago, they told me my police certificate is missing (Actuallly I sent everything). They haven't sent me any checklist.

Can I send the police certificate without getting checklist from them? Because only police certificate is missing..

I sent cashier check for IV fee by mail one month ago. And bank said it was cashed 3 weeks ago. However on the website it still shows PAY NOW.

I called NVC but they don't have an idea and just saying 1 month is really long and it should show PAID.

Anybody else waited that much after sending the fee??

I added my wife as beneficiary in 401k nobody asked SSN

pictures are enough..don'w wait and delay your priority date...send all your pictures...mutual bank accounts...the money receipts if you sent money (western union)...or any document showing her as your beneficiary in USA ( like 401 K beneficiary) etc....waiting is not a good option I guess

Or is it adjusted gross income like question 19? Annual salary is before tax and it's higher than Adjusted gross income

In the W-2 form there is no section for single or married. In the company you can inform your company to make your status as married. However I'm talking about something else. When you fill your tax forms to IRS every april, you need to select single/married jointly etc. When I selected married it asked for a SSN or tax ID number for spouse which she doesn't have. So I had to file single..

I have a question to ask.. At the NVC step, they are asking Tax transcript from IRS. Since my wife is overseas and doesn't have SSN and tax number. I filed my taxes as a single.. Would it be a problem for them since I'm married?

I will amend these tax returns once she comes..

Thank you..I have a NVC Case number but it's asking for Invoice ID number as well. My priority date is April 2014 and I just got excited after reading other posts about PD movement upcoming months.

So, I can not check without Invoice number? Is this number something that I get after I become current?
